There's definitely a Yuri subtext to this, so it probably should have the shoujo-ai tag, but definitely not the Yuri tag. Just my $0.02. I mean, why would someone read this if they weren't reading it for the yuri subtext?

Why do people translate "gyaru" to "gal"? They don't mean the same thing. Gyaru is a loan word but has taken on an almost entirely different meaning than gal which is just ~1930s slang for girl/woman. I know some 90yos and when they say 'gal' they mean "young woman", not "brightly clothed Japanese gyaru subculture follower".

Just use gyaru. We all know what it means. RRREEEEE

Don't mind me, I'm here for the yuri subtext. Got surprised by the MC lookalike having a boyfriend, but it wasn't our titular loner girl, it was just a different friend.

Alright, I guess I came for the yuri subtext, but stayed for the wholesome, outgoing gyaru friendships.

...I still want to see the yuri, tho.

At first I thought it will be yuri. Now I think it's ok whether yuri or not. The story itself is already very worth to read.

@yurirei Lol, I sat there for 10 minutes with a smirk, when my guess that the comments of this manga would be full of shippers instantly came true after checking the first random chapter. And this is just a couple of days after I told one guy that the fandom of any female friendship manga is mostly yuri fans.

@SuperOniiChan the author tags this series as yuri on their pixiv. But on all the sites to buy the volume version from none of them have it tagged as yuri. The second volume comes out March 22nd. If it's still friendship by then, then we'll know for sure it's not yuri. The artist has no yuri themed illustrations on pixiv and their only other series isn't yuri either.

I actually thought this was going to be a fluffy gyaru themed yuri like boyish girl x gyaru with more depth than that series and no tomboy, but I guess not. I was actually planning on buying both volumes and having somebody work on it. I'm not sure about that now

@CSmith327 I already knew a couple of authors who called their series yuri, "actually" having a platonic thing, lol. But I don't want to pretend that this applies to any authors.
