It’s not the right way to go about it, but given the trauma I can where she was coming from trying to make sure he doesn’t go through something similar, rather then just being a brocon randomly.

I think it's more about her hatred for the social type. Him going through something similar doesn't make sense since he's not bullied. Unless she thinks those girls who bullied her also bullies their boyfriends.

I think it's more about the friendliness towards her than the specific things. It's often hard to muster hatred towards someone who's nice to you.
