That cliche trope in manga where every female background character is bisexual is really... you know, just feels way too irreal, altrough its true that there are more bi womans than mans, its still too surrealistic.

I find it really interesting that while Japan has similar gender expectations as the West, they've adopted Valentines Day gifts in reverse. Making girls have to take the initiative in giving chocolates gives it a bit of a different dynamic.
