But it's quite apparent at this point that the suffering shown in this story doesn't really have a "point." It's sheer self-indulgence masquerading as Seriousness. If I wrote this I'd be embarrassed for my friends to read it, let alone have it be published. And between that and the many disturbing comments here, I'm out.

Author won't let her get raped. It would make the MC seem powerless and inept at calculations, moreover it would be heavy baggage to carry for the rest of the series. MC will save her last minute, she'll fall in love with him, and her arc will be finished.

@tuatara1 Being real here from the start I knew what it was going to be, seems like you overestimated this series potential.
If the writing drops off lower than this I will say I did too, but these kinds of comments are appearing everywhere action/adventure is these days.
People wanting mc to be this OP badass most times even if the plot has to pay for it, I would say just ignore those comments and pay attention to the ones with good criticism 😅
