alright I'm getting a bit tired of both factorio and recettear

so I need some of what the title said

I have played Synthetik (roguelike shooter), Hades (roguelike), Volcano Princess (parenting sim?), Poker Night 1 and 2 (let's go gambling), every call of duty from 4 to bo2 (though only the singleplayer campaigns, I was too cowardly to try multiplayer, fps), Fallout: New Vegas (rpg fps), Fallout 3 (though it was played from TTW, rpg fps), hoi4 (only briefly, strat game)

and of course, factorio and recettear

so yeah, recommendations

and no visual novels, please

Deus ex. play it, then instal the revision mod and play it again, then play it again, then play the nameless mod.

once you're done sinking a few hundreds hours inti this game, stellaris is a good recommendatiin (just pirate the dlc) then play lobotomy corp, it's like a parenting simulator except the kids have severe OCD and are supernatural.
Metal Unit is a pretry fun roguelike.
20 minutes till daxn is imo peak vampire survivor type of game.
then feel free to play phoenotopia awakening, it's a pretty cool action platformer.

grand strategy isn't my cup of tea anymore, especially anything from paradox games (looking at you, hoi4)

rest I might try at some point in time

If you like beloved classics and ssethshit, play Vampire The Masquerade Bloodlines. Dark Messiah of Might and Magic is neat too.
I recommend this, a short freeware retro platformer with nice atmosphere.
Iji is another cool old freeware game, almost like a western Cave Story.

Oh yeah, play Metal Gear Rising Revengeance

Maybe something different like This War of Mine? It mixes genres you like and you can play it without a good PC.

looking at the trailer and uhhhhh

I'm sure it's good, but for me, heart-wrenchers tend to drive me away, purely because it would be too expensive to replace the tissues I used to wipe my tears and snot

(and also because I'm too much of a crybaby)

so no, might check it out in the future, but still

Well how about something new and go for some Horror RPGmaker kind of games if you haven't already? Here's a few:

yes (unintentionally)

hmm, as I said before, horror isn't for me

I get scared too easily, so that's a no

(plus, I have never even touched a single rpgmaker game in my life)

What do you want to play exactly then, at least which genre? Plants vs Zombies? Tetris? Chess/shogi/go? No good results when you put all the genres you want together on Steam? Any specs limit? At the end of the month they'll release a party/joke game of Uma Musume:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2313020/Umamusume_Pretty_Derby__Party_Dash/
hmmmmmm

singleplayer (doesn't have to be primarily singleplayer, I'd just like the option of playing singleplayer) (a must, I hate interacting with people)

(anything below is optional)

shooters (preferably first person, though 2D and third person can work as well)

"games that scale you from being a doofus to a demigod" -Mandalore Gaming (essentially, roguelikes/lites, but also something akin to factorio)

games that have 60-80% gameplay, 40-20% story (though a balance is okay)

(the line stops here)

here's what I DON'T want (not optional)

visual novels (I hate 100% story "games")

any heart-wrenchers (or in other words, tearjerkers)

horror (you know why)

strategy games (especially grand strategy, like hoi4 or ck3)

mobile games, free or paid (I don't feel like spending time or effort to pirate those)

other than those, I am open to other genres

Sounds like you like roguelikes.

Some roguelike and roguelike genre mixes would be:

Against the Storm (roguelike village builder)
Loop Hero
Balatro (poker roguelike)
Hand of Fate 1 and 2
The Risk of Rain series of games

Or if you liked Hades and Hades 2 maybe try the other Supergiant games?
Bastion
Transistor
Pyre

If you enjoyed Fallout, maybe try Prey?
The System Shock remake is pretty good too.

Or for something different how about Xcom games and others like it?
Warhammer 40k: Chaos Gate - Daemonhunters
Gears Tactics
Edit: Also Phoenix Point for something closer to Xcom

I have other suggestions if you want.

I've been enjoying Valheim lately, a survival game but not as involved as some are. There's no starving to death or food going rotten in your bags, but you still need improved food to survive stronger enemies, and need to craft and upgrade stuff to progress. It's fairly cheap, has some nice visuals, random maps for replayability and lots of options to tweak. It's still in early access, but feels pretty well made and is just missing content for the final biome.

Earth Defense Force (I'ld recommend EDF5 first, then 6)

if you have a Nintendo switch, I highly recommend metroid dread.
