There are certainly a number of rather asinine problems with this chapter, but think I hold the most issue with the mother being arrested for murder, while the shrine maiden is walking free. In a setting where they are literally training children to fight and kill, they are worried about a teacher using lethal force against violent criminals who are out kidnapping students with firearms and swords?

NGL, I have no clue what level of education the author has, but it surely it not nearly enough.

An elaborated answer:
The manga is published in Comic Valkyrie magazine. It really does have a lot of breaks, and the last published chapter is 27. With 21 chapters of that being collected in 3 volumes which we follow.

And when it comes to translation, we are doing this in collaboration with Tomoshibi, who as you can see from his list, has quite a lot on his plate. So in addition to the usual time needed for translation itself, we often have to wait for him to make editing part. Add some communication back and forth and it just takes time. So please be patient.
