Me sad to hear this, tell the mangaka we love their work (I believe this is the mangaka who reads these comments iirc). As I mentioned last chapter, the way this is setting up for Mochizuki to potentially go back to the moon indicates to me that the manga will indeed end with volume 3, ie in 2 chapters if my math isn't broken. All subplot besides his have essentially been solved.
There have been no announcements about it yet but that's not uncommon with monthly manga, sometimes you get the announcement on the second to last chapter. Plus the author did say that the manga was essentially canceled barring some miracle with sales and would end with volume 3.
There's "scared shitless" and then there's "something/someone is actively trying to kill you." IIRC the only times he's brought out the legs is to save his life, save FMCs, or to protect their relationship. You'd think fleeing in terror would be a good time to bust out ye olde rabbity legs![]()
How the hell are they going to fit both the new girl from this chapter (considering last page and the TBC I assume she'll be relevant in next chapter and not just a joke for this chapter?) and the resolution of the moon rabbit and romance plot in just 2 chapters, considering how short the chapters are, starting that random "ghost" girl subplot in the last 3 chapters wouldn't make senseAs I mentioned last chapter, the way this is setting up for Mochizuki to potentially go back to the moon indicates to me that the manga will indeed end with volume 3, ie in 2 chapters if my math isn't broken. It's wonderful to see how different cultures see the same image. Perhaps both are right, and on the moon, St. George is at work aided by a rabbit apothecary. These last chapters made me search why rabbits are so associated with the moon in East Asia, and... wow, today I learned something.
They look at the dark parts of the moon and see a rabbit grinding herbs like an apothecary?
In my country, if you ask people what the dark parts of the Moon look like, probably the most common answer would be Saint George, riding his horse, spear on his hand, ready to slay a dragon, like in the legend.
And I think for Japan specifically the rabbit is making mochi, or at least that's a common variant. It's wonderful to see how different cultures see the same image. Perhaps both are right, and on the moon, St. George is at work aided by a rabbit apothecary.
Yeah, it's really sad, this has been great. I really hope the mangaka knows some people really appreciate their work, and if this must end, are looking forward to what comes next.Thx for the TL!

I stand corrected. St. George can enjoy mochi after his dragon slaying. And I think for Japan specifically the rabbit is making mochi, or at least that's a common variant.
Slaying dragons is hard work, he deserves a treat.I stand corrected. St. George can enjoy mochi after his dragon slaying.
