If that were the case all the tactical response forces ranging from military to civilian would be filled with deranged people who derive pleasure from killing or broken shells. I'm not saying it
doesn't happen every so often but the vast majority don't derive pleasure from such actions, instead it should be pointed out that the pleasure most people feel at that moment would be from accomplishing the required task successfully and without any problems, saving lives, or stopping a perceived threat to society. If you want to see the difference between the two then like Kaarme said go take a look at Rory then look at a random soldier.
