How did they build it so fast?
It takes years to build a super freighter IRL and these guys build something even bigger in less than a year...

I've been super critical of the bullshit in this manga, but I'm totally willing to accept Deus ex Earth Magica for this; he already noted that he would use the von Braun-kun engines for a ship, and if you really push the limits of it, you can totally see elemental magic making up for the lack.

My problem is the fucking timeline for this shit.

Even at the peak of production an actual battleship takes years to make and they just happened to pull this one out of their ass in a few months

How is the arrowhead absorbing power from the archer? Isn't it only the arrowhead that has that metal? Unless the shaft is made of the same metal, or a material that allows energy to pass acrossed it, that shouldn't be possible... at all. Apparently, the author knows their shit when it comes to gov't policy, but they know jackdiddly about how energy works😅. Using a counter material, one that doesn't allow passage of energy, like rubber (hardened, ofc), should be used for the shaft and it should be just fine. Energy NEEDS a pathway. No pathway, no energy transference. If the energy is able to "jump" across areas because the attraction is that powerful, a simple block made of the same counter materials will work just fine. Kind of a 'duh' here.

They most likely modified a ship they already had. And like it was already explained, they have ways to move large amounts of earth and metals that we just don't. Going by our timelines would be kinda ridic. However, even using our timeliness, ships can be built quite quickly during war; during necessary times. WWI & II proved this. Ships, planes, the A bomb, factories, upgraded armaments, production plants, research facilities, testing facilities, etc... all within a small window of time, and with all the country's resources going into their manufacturing, WERE built. A year to modify a carrier? Even for us, that's easily doable and historically has been accompished.

First: I was going by peak production timelines and it still takes a two to three years - and that's with experienced and skilled builders who know what they're doing - and using laws of physics, buoyancy and materials we are familiar with.

Second: Aircraft carriers are designed to carry personnel and airplane

Not a fucking landmass. THAT is a WHOLE ASS ISLAND, that has got to be close to half a million tons of earth and rock at a minimum.

A modern aircraft carrier has a displacement of 100,000 tons and the largest cargo ship tops out at 400,000 tons

Nice security measure of notifying all floors of elevator movement.

Poor security for not verifying the King's identity and his party, especially in a world with magic. They need two factors: He looks like the King and he knows something only the King would know. There should also be a "distress passphrase", so he can secretly inform the guards that he is entering under duress, and the lower floor destination should be prepared to capture everyone.

"Curse ore arrows"

Arrowheads need a discarding sabot (hmmm. Not the right term. It's something like a hard cone covering the rest of the warhead that breaches the armor enough to let the explosive charge drive a jet of molten metal into a tank.) that can penetrate the target to create an avenue for the curse ore to be introduced, kind of like an antitank warhead.
