MC starting to really embody what a government is all about! Government secretserm yeah I totally built this massive aircraft carrier in secret and never told anyone (or the reader) about it until we conveniently needed it
I mean, he already has a minister of the back doing the spy stuff for him.MC starting to really embody what a government is all about! Government secrets
I was just thinking that I must have forgotten the scene were this was foreshadowed. But I guess it was a retcon line, then, to say he launched the project back then.erm yeah I totally built this massive aircraft carrier in secret and never told anyone (or the reader) about it until we conveniently needed it
For all we know this is just a step. Research takes time, and almost never gets it right the first time. Even under normal irl circumstances. The research in this case is researching the method of farming, more than just the land they're planting in. I sense a hydroponics project in the making.Nice to see one of his "ideas" fail (ie. the wheat) but i'm pretty he'll bullshit his way into making it a success.
Oh i know full well that research take time it's just that in Isekai manga they usually introduce technology with no research and somehow everything ends up working magically. For all we know this is just a step. Research takes time, and almost never gets it right the first time. Even under normal irl circumstances. The research in this case is researching the method of farming, more than just the land they're planting in. I sense a hydroponics project in the making.
In the universe of the manga, the people know how to create large metal vessels floating on water, so they most likely already knew how to make larger vessels but there was no point in doing them because there weren't any efficient way to make them move nor were there any specific purpose for them to be larger because they'd simply be a slow inefficient big target. Here, the MC probably didn't give the blueprint for the carrier. I'd say he gave the ideas, he made people research what could make it work, here propulsion engines, and made it work.the author really underestimates the complexity of modern aircraft carriers, i very much doubt MC has blueprint knowledge about battleships
It didn't fail per se.Nice to see one of his "ideas" fail (ie. the wheat) but i'm pretty he'll bullshit his way into making it a success.
It's complicated because there are multiple nutrients that plants need. Soy beans and other legumes can fix nitrogen from the atmosphere, but it's not really possible to obtain other nutrients like that. I think the long-term solution would be a circular economy, with sewage from cities and towns being processed into fertiliser to replenish the soil.Everyone is talking about Hydroponics being the key here. I thought the solution was going to be a plant that gives more nutrients than it takes from the soil, like soy beans.
