I don't know how it is in japan but i know some places won't bother sending a 'rejection' notice either (unless they have some automated system, but be sucky if the system accidentally rejected someone they wanted to hire)
although while it's great to take a step forward, rather than doing similar office work she did before, shame she can't just be in some 'back room' where she's just putting away old files or so/carrying packages/moving boxes to not need to interact with ppl more than necessary
(or if she just had a random lucid moment of 'not giving a fuck' and being like "The reason i left my last job was because of power harassment/abuse" or so to put pressure on the next company tho idk how successful it'd be to imply that you might file a lawsuit if something like that happened to you again)
Good new chara was able to bounce back after rest, i would've assumed there being an underlying implication of her having a hard time being a 'foreigner' in Japan b/c asians are just as racists to others if they're not the same type
Based on the people working at Familiar Mart she's met, I kinda worry about the conditions of the workplace. Seems pretty exploitative.
I mean, it's presented in a more 'comedic' way and one person being stoic/not giving a fuck about shitty customers, but "Nietzsche at the convenience store" is pretty much about how shitty a local foodmart type of store can be
