@krispy : they are summoning weapons, not people (as seen by their disposing of the MC) The Scum make better weapons.

@Sakaiy : there is some in here, you just do not know what originality is, since it can be subtitle and, especially in novel adaptations, take time so show itself while the trolls only see that a trope was used in ch 1.

There was nothing in this chapter that made me have sympathy for this guy. We'll probably get a backstory when he goes to a local town, like all of them do, but give us something else. We could have at least gotten some description of why he was immediately thrown away. Did priest lady not see his skill when she appraised him? Boooooooooooo.

Again another isekai that starts with something that obviously wouldn't happen. No way they would instantly sac. the hero they summoned. Even a level 1 has their uses (particlarly if it is someone from another world, and possibly has intel on the real pawns they summoned and maybe even holds value to them), and even if that had not been the case, it would be stupid to sac him with the others knowledge as they will quickly distrust the summoner. And no way they (the real pawns) would laugh about it, as they obviously would be more concerned about their own situation and try to figure out a plan to extract themselves. Only way it would make even remotely some sense, would be if they were enslaved with magic, but that would obviously be done before saccing the other guy.

It will be hilariously edgy like Dungeon Seeker or Vengeful Massacre.
Or it will be standard crap like Arifureta.

@ASmileToProtect @feha : the summoner says in this chapter that humans do not have initial skills (ph 16) so his only value is something outside their expectations and that they would not, and it would be unreasonable to assume that they should, check.

They do not care about knowledge, it is a word ruled by skills and stats which come from levels, and they want weapons to win a war.

That plus his level 1 limit is why, they are convinced the thugs are the heroes, and him and the girl

@sjmcc13 you clearly did not realize what I were alluding. I was not talking about skills. I were talking about stuff like him being a potential hostage (and potentially even bg-info about the pawns), stuff like extracting information from him about customs, food, etc. that the pawns are used to, to not anger them without a purpose, and potentially keep their morale high. Stuff like spells and martial arts from an alien world. Stuff like technology and techniques (even if the world has skills and levels, they clearly value those things too. Otherwise they wouldn't live in a castle and wear fancy stuff. And mathematics would always be useful no matter what). Stuff like keeping him around simply "just-in-case". When done, stuff like earning political goodwill by gifting an exotic slave to some political ally. Or have someone completely off-the-record (if the summoning bonuses are kept secret) they can force to poison a political ally. Or why not stuff like investigating if otherworlders are anatomically different in any way?

From your response to my post, I have to wonder whether you are the kind of person who throws dirty laundry, because what use is dirty clothes?
