Thanks for the new chapter!

The Bunny Court Mage is not only cute but he is also a sensibly kind person. 🥰
Anyway, it's funny that you would want to kill someone who is OP enough to save your country just because he is OP (apart from the fact that he is suspected to be a Child of Disaster). Antagonizing power-wielders is a recipe for 'disaster' rather you should establish good relations with such parties especially if you don't know how much power they wield (in some stories this is how a Maou/Demon Lord is born). Imagine this Evegne guy trying to rush Reiji without knowing how disastrous his potentials may be (and they saw him take down enemies and monsters which the knight armies can't even come close).

Often visions of the future are self fulfilling prophecies. Someone who may be labeled as "the enemy who destroys the nation/world" would have otherwise been just a normal person, if not for everyone trying to kill them to prevent the destruction.

Otherwise fear of those with unbound power is extremely natural. If you don't know whether they will use the power against you, or what may set them off, or where their politics lie, it is natural to be afraid of them.
Doesn't make it right, though.

"Are they going to kill Reiji?"
"Most likely, but don't worry."

...what? She follows it up with a "I doubt the king would wage war against the count", but in that case wouldn't that mean they most likely weren't going to kill Reiji?

But anyway, I wonder if "world ruler" is going to secretly be able to let him travel between the worlds, to go do shadow world shenanigans later on.

Yeah - and sometimes, the moment they do get to kill that person, is when the actually disaster happens. It's such ironies that make such tragedies develop oh so predictable. But yeah, Reiji is technically creating an imbalance by 'collecting' all skills he can come across to. While he is not hoarding the orbs, he is actually slowly amassing all skills from both worlds so that might be problematic in some way (but everyone else doesn't know that yet)
