I get the impression the dead wolves aren't dead yet since that would be a waste of their human forms but maybe not since the next chapter is titled Hiou.

Not actually, that girl always treat Yuu bad, she would probably get in the way with him trying to save Asahi, the least people that know the better, specially people that have no power to help at all.

I guessed that chapter with horned girl was quite incomplete and it would continue, but then came another short tale with the father and the umbrella that made both chapters look like side stories.
