It feels somewhat wasteful to have two groups use their time on the same series, that's the main reason. I'm doing it besides my job, so it would be preferable if it would not be a parallel scanlation project.

Also people seem to be fine with this one. It doesn't meet my standards, but that isn't really that important.

Let me tell you right now: I can't speak for others, but while I'm fine with this one, I would really prefer a higher quality scanlation if at all possible. Heck, the current scanlator has even built it into their credits page that they're simply scanning this until a more skilled group can take it over bc they didn't want to see this manga fall by the wayside.

Edit: Nvm, I can see by your conversation with joosh that you're well aware of their desire for someone else to take over.

Hi,

wanted to give a quick update/apology.

Shortly after we agreed to take over the series, both my partner and me fell ill for over a week and are now swamped with work that has been piling up during the time we were out cold. We're trying to release the new chapter as soon as possible, but it might still take another week or two, sorry.

Yeah we were considering that already. Right now we have to catch up with IRL things after both being ill for over a week, so scanlation work has been put on hold for now.
