The Prince is clearly in love with the gardener. Princess is just doing best friend things helping her enjoy her last bit of freedom in hs. I guess Princess falls for the gardener too, seeing as how she's married to him as well at the end. In conclusion, it's a harem, one built by the effortless rizz of a gardener that managed to score two rich girls.

I think that's either their graduation photo or their company photo, as it's implied at the end they run a company together and that the Princess is forcing the Prince to take longer hours so she can get off early and start working on kid #2 with the gardener.
