Tsubaki really is growing out of his shell in the recent chapters. I love how we barely see much of the actual game because from Tsubaki's eyes, he can't concentrate on caring about Japan but selfishly wants to play himself.

I wish there was a Discord or something to chat about this manga, it really is great and the best football manga I know.

Ehehe, Tsubaki is getting fired up. Usually he's so down on himself and self-effacing. I've heard pros in various sports say, especially if they're called up, all they want is to play and get a chance to be on the pitch, even if it's only for a minute.
