This feels like a whole different series now and I love it. Even the jokes didn't seem to get much in the way of the pacing and plot like they usuallty do. Also the characters do feel as if they had gone through some change beyond how they look. One can almost feel the two years difference. I wasn't sure about this new arc but now I can't wait for the next chapter.
