More than Mirika, I’m way more disappointed with how the author invalidates portions of the previous arc with how he developed Naoya in this arc.
When he added girlfriend #2, fine that’s how the story starts and #3 is of special circumstances where there is a long relationship between the main parties. However, this #4 sets a precedent where any girl Naoya fancies in the future technically he can add to the crew. This runs counter to the previous arc and pretty much sets Naoya up as a philanderer and the the current trio will pretty much be a doormat.

I'll be honest, this is exactly what I was expecting from the manga. I'm sort of disappointed? I kinda wanted something else to happen.

Naoya had a heartfelt confession to her, but it runs counter to what she wants. How is Mirika supposed to accept she's going to be number one in Naoya's eyes only sometimes? When she campaigned so hard to be the only one in his life? A chance for an exclusive relationship with Naoya isn't what she wants.
