It was obvious for a long time this is a harem and i don't get ppl hating on the author or MC. From the moment 3rd girl joined it was unevitable Mirika gonna join too.
I wonder if we get some typical x years later time skip.
People hate the author because Mirika was the closest thing to an antagonist this story had. Mukai's desire is for a polyamorous relationship, while Mirika wants to force him into a monogamous one.

This was introduced as a clash of ideals, with the polyamorous relationship being admittedly (by the narrative itself) a pipe dream that the characters would have to fight with tooth and nails to make work, as every single person outside of that relationship (including Shino would later join in) trying to convince the three stooges that a monogamous one would be for everyone's benefit. The whole point of Mirika was for her to give Mukai a viable, socially acceptable and easier alternative to his relationship goals with Nagisa and Saki.

But the narrative also painted his polyamorous goals as pure and worth fighting for, with both girls being in love with him and having a thing for each other (the best way for a poly relationship to work is with all members involved being in love with each other) and putting in the effort to make it work, while the one pursuing the monogamous one was painted as unreasonable, someone who only cares about appearances and uses her body to gain fame and money while she forces her own ideals on three people whom she has nothing to do with simply because she isn't the center of attention.

And Shino's addition to the poly just reinforces the idea that this is what the author had intended, with her being initially against the idea of Mukai two-timing her best friend, something we can all understand why she would be so adamant about, only for the reveal to be that she was just using her arguments as excuses to hide the fact that she too was in love with him, and only by embracing the truth and the poly relationship she becomes happy.

All the characters involved become better people because of the polyamorous relationship, with Mukai finding his goal for the future and busting his ass off to get top grades, Nagisa learned how to cook perfectly because she wanted to make Mukai happy, Saki opened up about her bisexuality and perviness towards Nagisa and Shino, and Shino becoming honest about her feelings finds happiness in being around people devoted to each other and herself.

Everyone improved along the way, except Mirika. Mirika showed criminal behavior constantly, drugging, kidnapping, blackmailing and conspiring against other people's relationships. She claims to have fallen in love with Mukai, but all of her actions say otherwise - she's just an egocentric girl who can't stand a guy not being in love with her if he's so easy he falls for two or even three other girls. Through the course of the story she's done nothing but force her ideals on him and made everyone's lives worse because of it.

We're pissed off because Mirika represented everything Mukai had to fight against to make this relationship work. Adding Mirika to the harem makes the whole narrative so far pointless!

Although ultimatums cant be met, its still nice to see what kind of guy naoya is, he is genuine about his feelings and resolve despite the situations. I did wish for mirika to join the team but not like this, feels desperate and against how she felt about the relationship, i hope she stands up for her beliefs and not just join cause she loves him.

I hope Mirika reject him and get out of this toxic as hell gang bang galore of a relationship. Even if she gets in it isnt guaranteed Naoya gonna stay with only 4 girls if this bullshit keeps happening because he is human trash and Saki is just a bomb slowly ticking only the matter of time before she starts another bitch fit in the future and start drama again.

Think people are pissed that it didn't go the standard harem ending where he ends up with just Saki after all the drama. And then it was 3 girls they banked their hopes that there would be one girl who didn't go with him because she would have different ideals. Now that that seems to be a bust, they're kinda pissed off. Granted you could be forgiven that this is mainly a gag manga and not a drama, since its been all drama since like September of last year.

I’m pissed that she’s not the only one he didn’t fall for, because she’s just the worst kind of person.

Bruh. 3 chapters to go. Does that mean it the arc ends or the whole manga?

Please remember that this is mainly a gag manga and the author's previous works are about comedy and absurdity.

So this kind of movement are kind of expected based on his previous works. Please keep enjoying this manga for laugh and not for drama 😅

I think so. Because Mirika is the only girl who didn't want to join Naoya's harem. And so her conclusion will be the climax of the story.

(Although I want to see Naoya become a prime minister and permitted the law of polygamy in Japan 😅).

Uh, no? The girls don't "have a thing for each other". Saki is the only one who's shown anything like that, the others always react with confusion, unease or just ignore it the few times the topic is broached. They're into Naoya romantically only.
