Think people are pissed that it didn't go the standard harem ending where he ends up with just Saki after all the drama. And then it was 3 girls they banked their hopes that there would be one girl who didn't go with him because she would have different ideals. Now that that seems to be a bust, they're kinda pissed off. Granted you could be forgiven that this is mainly a gag manga and not a drama, since its been all drama since like September of last year.

This is absolutely not the general sentiment. Majority expected and wanted harem end, at least with Shino,Saki and Nagisa. However Mirika is a different story and execution of her arc ironically increased amount of people not wanting her to join, no wonder people feel this way after Hiroyuki wrote himself into a corner after non-stop hammering audience with Mirika's resolve of being monogamous and spending shitload of screentimee on this and repetitive drama, so for her joining being well-received there should be some very convincing writing to change people's mind and there is none of that. KmK should have stayed more silly comedy and didn't try to go that deep, and people would have accepted harem end with open arms.

It wasn't in the first chapter, Hiroyuki mentioned it in interview. The harem manga that made " every girl winning" into it's official slogan from chapter 1 is 100 kanojo.

To be honest, we all knew this was going to end with him bringing up the idea of four-timing.

OK, I never was THAT into this manga, but at least I enjoyed it and had a good time... HAD. This arc rivals the "Paradise" arc of Kanokari as the worst arc in a romantic comedy I have ever read. "Paradise" was so dragged out and bad that it genuinely stopped me from reading Kanokari, and this is in the same league of dragged out and bad.

Also, 15 days ago we were hit with a "only 4 chapters left" and a "we take a week off" notices... and this is the follow up chapter??? a mere 13 pages of nothing??. I can't fathom the idea of someone not being disappointed by this. I don't understand how can this pass the editors.

I know a lot of people are disappointed. But I'm honestly not. And that's mostly because I knew Hiroyuki had one card left to play that would sort of resolve everything in a somewhat reasonable way. That's what we got. He neither exceeded or betrayed my expectations.

It's nice to know that everyone wins because I like everyone (to varying degrees but 🤫) and want them to be happy...

That being said @Tds-PdV brought up something interesting: Mirika's inclusion into the harem establishes a slippery precedent that portrays Naoya very poorly. And I agree; we don't know if other interested girls will cross his path, but it doesn't matter when he's shown to be THIS determined in pursuing a girl whose relationship philosophy runs counter to his own. I very much like Naoya, but I hadn't really thought of that point until that comment, and it really does paint an unflattering picture.
