This one is silly fun so far, I like it. The art helps a lot, higher quality than some other adapted works of his. I don't understand why people are getting so heated over this one.
This isn't a criticism but I've always found it weird how all the immortal monsters in these types of stories hang out around high schools or middle schools, especially if you put aside the centuries wide age gap and predatory implications. Its easy to have rose-colored glasses about that time of your life but what many older people forget is how boring it was most of the time. Why would an immortal being who is already probably bored of what life has to offer chose to be stuck at a desk learning things they've already learned all day?
Me, personally, if I was a 400 year old vampire, even one that looked that young, the last thing I would want to do is go back to school. I could understand college, where there is more potential for fun both academic and extracurricular, but even then I think I would get bored of it quickly. I wish one of these stories would go a little deeper into that aspect of the immortal character's psychology. There could be something interesting there (beside the obvious and boring predatory or romantic angle).
