Ruruna assume Yura fell for her after she shows herself acting dependable during their stranding.

I think Yura is just finally accepting she can open up to Ruruna, even though she’s still confused.
Kind of like getting seen naked and “nothing more to lose” line of thought, so why not just go all the way.
Even with Wakana, she always try to be the tough one. Meanwhile, Ruruna in all her tactlessness also seems to be respecting that boundary. But this time in the island, Yura is too wasted to play tough, and spit out her softer side, and Ruruna is also pushy.

Well, she’s still confused. After recovery she’d probably still go through that denial phase.
And no telling how much the bite is affecting her in this.
