Yeah "parricide" means murdering one of your parents.

"Patricide" is your dad, "Matricide" is your mom...which makes sense because it goes along with the patriarch/matriarch terms.

Parricide is just either one.

Not common terms unless you're an Investigation Discovery guy like me 😭
