even tough the mc got the highest score, he got the lowest rank since the headmaster hate him

at least this elea teacher got his back and theres several unmentioned teacher that also support him

his friend in the school only limited to the girl + elea (elea manage to deduce he is the great sage), some student become his admirer but thats it, not in the sense of a friend

The main conflict in the wn is only fighting the witch of hatred, that he has defeated in his previous life (and reviving his dead sister) and winning the school tournament

elea suggest him to win the typical school tournament so he can stop the bullying on him, while in the fight some senior and teacher blatantly cheating to stop him

in the end at the final round the noble boy who lose before (with some power up from witch of hatred, the witch already got rid at this point btw) interrupted the fight, this make the headmaster panic. After the mc defeat the noble boy again, the headmaster only got slap on the wrist since mc forgive him and basically he still want to keep his title as the lowest rank

then mc got the audacity to say he is happy, and thats it. The end

Aaaaah yes, predictable, like how this plot should be.

Now, it's alright to a have a predictable plot, it's all about execution.
This manga is a prime example of what to avoid.
I feel that the author knew how to make a cliche story but never understood why people liked cliche stories.

so the principal wants to prevent embarrassment by putting the mc in the lowest class despite him clearly having the greatest ability. which is pants on head retarded. all it would realistically (as far as realism goes in a fantasy manga), is raise questions like 'could they not accurately assess <mc>'s power?' and 'what kind of school would not nurture genuine talent and skill?'.

honestly I was kind of expecting the principal to pull a Grand Kai moment and reveal (either to the mc or the audience) that the school doesn't have anything to teach someone of mc's caliber

The part that makes the least sense here is that supposedly the grammar hasn't changed in 600 years. I'm not sure about Japanese in particular, but the idea that a language's grammar has stayed constant for 600 years is pretty insane. Real life Japanese had a major influx of foreign vocabulary in the past few hundred years, had a bunch of science terms invented when western books were translated to Japanese, had its character systems simplified, had hiragana and katakana essentially swap places...
