I'm 100% sure that Kitty’s out here using machine translation while copying GD's translation, only adding a few things and rephrasing it to make it look better. It’s like they’re trying to pass off a knockoff as the real deal. Honestly, Kitty’s probably the same as Comicdom, or maybe Comicdom themselves always lurking in the shadows, sniping translations like a scavenger, then begging for donations like they’re doing you a favor

this guy is claiming at the end of the chapter he "found out that gds were uploading 1 week before the actual release", this is a violation of mangadex rules
however they ARE NOT DOING THAT, the chapter releases one month early on comic ride advance and as such he simply lied
the fact he is saying that also implies he falsely reported the chapter and mangadex took it down for that reason

also will be happy to edit the comments to remove any wrong info and apologise if I hopefully end up being wrong, this stuff pissed me off way too much and I really do not want to believe there actually are people that scummy in here


UPDATE: GDS chapter is back up, someone reported it for the reasons stated above so it was hidden until now

staff member confirmed it was their mistake, they got a report which they brought up to gds and gds simply said to "ignore it", which in turn confused the staff who misunderstood the evidence and removed the chapter (go to page 3 to read the staff statement)

GD added some lines in the raws for spice and to improve the English wording, which weren’t there originally, and yet this kitty still thought it was a good idea to copy them along with the phrasing. Obviously, just copied the translation to upload it faster so he could start begging for donations. Can’t even plagiarize right! 😂

Was a mistake on my part, Did ask clarification from the GDS group but they said to ignore it, So I thought it was an early release which it was not as clarified in the comments here.

Chapter 49 released in Comic Ride Advance on 2025/3/10, So not an early release.

The reporte cited the new May issue (Released: 2025/4/8) which actually contains a new Chapter 50 (No scans yet), I confused that with containing Chapter 49, Could have been clarified by the GDS GL but I should have taken a more proper look as well, My bad.

I cant comment regarding comicdom, or if Kitty is using machine translation, however I can confirm that Kitty's modus operandi isn't copying from the previous translation. They are the only one translating The Drawing Isekai manga, and there are no other TLs to copy off of.

Page 7 and others were mistranslated or straight-up embellished by GD to improve flow and add spice. And what did Kitty do? He didn’t translate. He copied GD’s version, rephrased a few words, and called it his own. You really think it’s a coincidence that he kept the 'long sermon or easy explanation' line, when the original raws just said 'this way is more easy to understand'?

I compared both translations, line by line and I’m 100% sure he copied GD’s work, just rephrased it a bit to make it look original. It was a rush job to upload faster and start begging for donations. As soon as the GD's work gone, he uploaded his chapter. What do you call that?

Well if you really believe this to be the case, You can make a report while pointing out the specifics on what you mean, Another mod who is more proficient with japanese should have a better grasp on this, Although might be okay as per 1.3.4 but probably not if what you say can be proved.

Also, I have a job. Reading manga is just a past time of mine, I don't involve myself in TLs or anything like that, I just fucking read.

If anyone sounds suspicious here it's you, you just joined recently, when this issue arose. Don't accuse me of being a cohort of anyone, I don't give two flying fuck who translates the manga as long as they don't do anything bad.
