Either this woman is so Loyal to him or she's too crazy for him, Melty taking off her horns to find him is Sheer Dedication
Melty’s into Kosuke. In fact, One of the reasons she volunteered to go after him for Sylphy was that she also wanted to an opportunity to get closer to show her love and win his affections as well.

Oh man it’s been forever since we’ve seen Melty. Missed her a bunch, but the vertical eye slits REALLY triggered a danger sense in me.

And there goes the saintess, she’s been such a fun character in the story so far, great dialogues with Kousuke.

Thanks for the translation! I’m really excited to see where it goes from here. Hopefully they get revenge on that asshole foxman.
I figured she just used a transformation of sorts. Where is her wool?

Pls tell me they take revenge on that damn fox.
oh yeah, Cuvi definitely gets his in the end… though it’s gonna be a little while before we can see it happen here in the manga. As soon as Kosuke and the liberation army severely defeats the holy kingdom’s army, Cuvi and his handler from a neutral kingdom will surrender to bargain for his life. in the end Kosuke and the others are forbidden from taking Cuvi’s life, but according to the story, Cuvi still pays a high price for his treachery and betrayal in the latest LN books. His life was spared, but he ends up completely shaved and put on display for all to see with a sign around his neck saying ‘I betrayed my friends’ during the end of his punishment. Feeling humiliated and unable to leave town due to the approaching winter season, Cuvi now has to stay within the newly opened embassy and wear a full body cloak while waiting for his spring/summer fur to grow back in. When Kosuke takes out a pair of shears and taunts him with snipping them open and closed, Cuvi noticeably flinches. But now nobody worries about Kosuke being kidnapped again because the security around Kosuke has been tightened where he not only has bodyguards on the ground, but aerial surveillance from the harpy’s watching over him!

If anyone's noticed:
Yes, she broke off/sawed off her own horn to look more human.

And yes Melty is actually very strong.
Now I see why Melty has such a strong following, she's fantastic!

I'll miss her horns and cute ears, but somehow after her sacrifice she's gone through some kind of glow-up!

And yeah, I actually rather like yandere

Holy hell man.
If they research a way to siphon the energy out of the singularity that is between her breasts, they'll achieve infinite power!!
Y'know, the way you framed those made me realize the cloth shielding the universe from those antigravity weapons really resemble the fantastically impractical armor of the Adepta Sororitas, or "Sisters of Battle" from the Warhammer 40k games, which, as it happens, have a good following in Japan

Just saying, if you want to upload a picture without imgur slapping their big fat dick all over your comment, just press

Anyway,
Yeah I can see the resemblance. Didn't know that Warhammer was relatively popular in Japan.
But all things considered, it makes sense. I'm actually surprised it doesn't seem to have even more of an influence on their media...

Thanks for the advice and reply, it's appreciated!

RE: Warhammer - There's a pretty nice Games Workshop reseller and gaming hall in the Midori Ward in Nagoya city, and there are likely others closer to the city center. Nagoya's pretty big, but doesn't even hold a candle to Tokyo so I can only imagine the Warhammer shops they've got up there!

Now why it doesn't make it into anime or manga influence that much? No real idea, but the gunpla hobbiest magazine Hobby Japan sometimes has Warhammer sections complete with bespoke manga in its pages, so maybe it just sits in its own little corner unbothered by the popularity of other genres.
