And you know what happens when they do that nowadays? How many times have you read of those japanese netizens witch hunting and attacking artists who trace anything making their life hell?. And I know sometimes manga artists tracing photographs are an art in itself when they don't use computers and everything is old school manual application of halftones / screentones.

Considering that he could take it off anytime (it’s sole purpose was to give him a safe pass with the demihumans by pretending to be Sylphy’s slave), i reckon he just stowed it in the inventory since he’s now posing as a merc (and therefore shouldn’t have a slave collar strapped to his neck)

Can I say that the MC actually handled the infiltration absolutely "smooth"? No awkward stammering, no "Oh no they did something totally unexpected(It was not unexpected)", he went into the city like he was an actual mercenary that belongs there. Even once he was in he quickly went on to his goals ...

This is the difference between a MC who bangs without being shy, against MC who would do anything to stay away from women.
