Considering what's mentioned in the LN, the shame of losing your horns cannot be undone without an elixer grade potion.
Thus living the rest of your life in shame.
So my best guess from this is, once the horn is removed from certain races, it's a permanent as there is no possibility of reattaching said parts.
I mean, broken bones heal, but as with my previous statement, there'd probably be a very limited timeline if it's at all possible.

author is seriously underutilizing his powers, he could easily very safely tunnel all the way back, he could hollow out a massive cave under enemy forts then just use dynamite to blow up supporting pillars and collapse the fort into a hundreds of meters deep pit, or do like the allies did in Messines, dig in under the enemy front, in this case, under their forts, make a large cavern, fill it with dynamite, then boom, massive crater.

i would 100% do just that, screw us taking any risk of injury or loss, do its safely like this and utterly obliterate the enemy forts and their morale, fill in the crater and make a new better fort with 1 meter thick steel walls and another 1-2 meters of brick walls behind that, place the most suitable powerfull modern weapons he can on the walls, a truly impenetrable fortress by their worlds standards.

its a very common issue when authors give characters to OP powers with little to no limitations and balansing, they just illogically and stupidly have the MC barely use his powers for the sake of plot.

i will never understand why america allows women to just steal whatever they pleace from men in a divorce and barely ever give men anything, its one of the most extreme forms of sexism there is.
in a divorce in a just reasonable world, both sides should just get to keep whatever was theirs before the marriage and keep whatever percentage they invested in things during the marriage, regardless of who it is, if 20% on the shared account was provided by them, then 20% is what they get, if they paid 10% of the house, then they own 10%, either they sell their 10% to the majority holder for current market value, or its taken away from them and given to the partner for free, chose one, there is no 3rd option, if all cars was bought by one person, then all the cars belong to that one person, if both pitched in, then just like the house, the person who provided the majority gets it, its up to them if they want to keep it or sell it or give it to the other, custody should always at all times be based on income and a psych evaluation to determin who is better suited and based on what the kids want, of course a psychologist will do their best to make sure neither parent is manipulating the kids and that its truly their choise unless to young, then the kids get no say in the matter.
