I'm late to the party but got recommended this. It was great but def needed more time to develop the polycule. I don't know how anyone thought this wasn't trending to being a polycule but whatever lol.

Anywho I feel like Mayuki x Rin was so natural and beautiful. I loved Akira's angst. I wish we could have seen more of her pov. I felt bad for Mayuki because she was just pitied and tolerated by Akira. Akira saying that Rin was mental for choosing Mayuki was out of line lol. I would love to see how the three developed as a throuple, mainly Akira learning to love Mayuki romantically and Rin to Akira. Sad to see it was canceled.

This ending is lovely, but still, I feel like things progressed a bit too quickly. Would have really liked for the story to have 3 volumes so we could get some more chapters of development before the conclusion (especially between Mayuri and Akira), as well as one or two chapters of them being happy together afterwards.

The only thing I dislike about this story is how there isn't more of it.

But seeing some people in the comments have their brains fried by this story, I suppose I understand why it was hard for this to succeed as a longer story.

It's funny, there's like 60,000 manga out there with typical monogamous love triangles that end in heartbreak, and like 3 with a beautiful poly ending, and people still manage to come here and say "how awful to make a story like this". Oh well, that's how it always is to be on the receiving end of bigotry. I'm happy to see that even some mono people in the comments still appreciated this story for what it is. And the fact that so many people have come here to say, "as a poly person I appreciate this" indicates well that polyamory is not as uncommon as bigots would like to believe. So the representation is indeed way below where it needs to be. But lately we've had more stories playing around with these ideas, albeit not as whole-heartedly as this one, so there's some progress.

it feels like this story was written for polyamorous people and, god, it's like an oasis in a desert, finding a full, well-written series like that instead of yet another narrative about how growing up means choosing the One, or one where we're placed off to the side away from the real lovers. reading these comments was real frustrating to begin with, but it made me smile to see others like me show up toward the end to talk about how they felt represented. i wanted to add my voice to theirs, so, yeah. this is the most understood i have felt by a comic as far as polyamory goes

I think the least likable (or underdeveloped) character is Akira. She doesn't seem to be into Mayuki, and she gives third wheel vibes.
