Ooooh I see.
So when they said "Irvine" they were talking about Arvin.
Like they keep referring to Shiruka as "Siluca" now.
And like they've arbitrarily changed Theo's chosen family name Cornelo to "Cornaro" or something stupid like that. And how the countries are now all translated to something different, and Mirza (an actual Persian surname for royalty) was written as Milza, and how despite acknowledging that Arvin is a chamberlain the fucktard translator keeps writing "footman".
I'm trying my best to keep track of all this, but I really REALLY hate when translators arbitrarily change names mid-series, and they've done it with almost every single name and several others words besides so far.
And as extra icing on the cake, I'm the only one complaining about the obviously awful translation here.
Like normally when translation is even slightly off there will be torrents of complaints in the comments section. And this time they're a complete fucking mess, and nobody else has said a single damned thing about it. Heck, some people have complained about the plot (which is actually good) and completely ignored the shitty translation. Like there is some sort of conspiracy amongst the commenters to only complain about things that do NOT require it, while ignoring the things that are genuinely wrong. Are you somehow all reading a completely different manga to me or something?
