I don't really think so if I had one good thing to say about this chapter even if I hate it it's that the last panel is shocking especially when you contrast it when she did it with the male lead she all most seems dead inside but of course that could be because the artist is good and the author had no intention of leaving that impression. But the shock value was in fact shocking it's just all the emotional investment the readers put into the male and female leads relationship rooting for their relationship to succeed against the odds that was the ntr part has been spent on it. Building that up with fumi would take a lot of time to much infact which is why I don't think this was well thought out. I think the demand for fumi to become the main love interest to the male lead is just a knee jerk reaction which is why I think this work will end up hemorrhaging readers that were in it for the romance.

They being asking to the glass girl to be the new fmc for a long time so is nothing new for the author but is a impulsive reaction for now but i think now she literally overdone this time because the repercussion was way bad them her previous work and literally damaged her image as a mangaka and probable this work is going to be her last in this magazine for a long time.

I just saw someone write on X that Sakura is well-developed... so its not only airi without a brain. On top of that, I constantly see people writing the same bullshit. I think the hate is more because she made the stupid concept of romcom ntr(literally two opossites that don't match) and even the jp ntr fans are hating on her so is literally on both sides of the coin(the romcom and ntr fans).

And ntr literally was made in a really bad way because the reason was stupid,the set up was really bad made and just made fmc even worst that she was(jp fans are literally asking to change the fmc because of that).

the least worst character in this story is literally the mc because he helped her a lot even if he is a cuck(and he didn't made many stupid things like the fmc.

And she making the ntr after 129 chapters was really one of the worst decisions she could have made(it should happended way before).She literally made fans expecting the romance so is literally on her that time(she really overdone this time).

Don't know but it's wild that people are buying from the raw site and translating through Google lens and another app. Tech has come a long way soon enough sites like this may lose importance granted you can't replace the community nor ease of ACCESS which is manga and animes biggest problem and a big reason why the high seas exist.

Destiny lovers part 1 was pretty dubious. It ended suddenly right in the middle of an arc and had to become a sequel with a separate mc in the end. It's unclear if it was an axe or sales got that bad from the drama, or just a bad author; especially when in part 2 it essentially ret conned the old mcs ntr.

I haven't been keeping up as much since like chapter 50 of DL pt 2. I heard the new f/mc do pretend ntr with someone to win a challenge or something but it never went all the way right?

Brother, most people didn't expect a normal rom com. Most people wouldn't have cared if there was ntr if 1 it was done earlier or 2 it was done better. As a degenerate who reads ntr, after 129 chapters to force a two chapter rushed sex scene it's just incredibly mid and anticlimactic. Their is no defending the author because she can't even see the issue with her work and like you; is assume everyone is complaining about the ntr itself. Even then to attack viewers while misrepresenting them is inexcusable. It's her fault she kept responding instead if letting it blow over.

Well, when you get to the final chapters and encounter the "Ultimate" trials, it will be the beginning of the end for that work (chapter 140+).

I read all of destiny lovers 1 and 2 in the meantime. There is no ntr (just hella ntr bait), both fmc and mc from part 1 and 2 trade their first time with each others respective partners. No cheating happens after that to either fmc. I still believe part 1 was definitely axed and that's why part 2 ends with subverting the ntr expectation. Actually was pretty decent ending wise in part 2 but I could see it annoying ntr fans lol

The set up was right there too playboy confesses to Sakura , MC is busy with Fumi and doesn't even get it up for Sakura, misunderstanding happens and Sakura catches MC kissing Fumi which then gets her to cheat onMC. If you hate that well sucks tell me what would've been a better reason for Sakura to cheat. Besides SHE WAS ALREADY THINKING ABOUT OTHER GUYS COCKS FROM THE LAST ATTEMPT. Girl wasn't a saint
