Maybe the author will play it straight. It won't be dark but more impersonal. I don't think the author would give sakura any consequences like that she hasn't had any before and at this point most readers would prefer her to have something like that happen so it won't.

Shinobu on the other hand would definitely undergo a depressing state, and Fumi will definitely comfort him. They might have sex, but it'll just be like the fuckboi, so instead, she would just stay by his side and never leave him until he feels better.

I have know idea what the author dose with sakura from here on out other than to piss off readers with her getting her back blown out by fuckboi but next chapters is probably shinobu saying he didn't cheat or saying nothing at all while the asshole gives him her neckless he gave her as a gift as proof then he cries did will be at his lowest point. Let me be Captain Obvious and summary it myself:

- Sakura avoiding accountability: just a one-sided text, no addressing the issue at any point, for Sakura communication means confrontation and confrontation means accountability.

- toxic environment, her blonde bitch friend is validating her bad choices because she seems pretty biased against MC, yet she condones Sakura cheating with Yuma. Rules for thee not for me and my friend. Shift the blame, if Sakura does wrong it's MC's fault, not Sakura's.

- Yuma, the asshole of the moment, gaslights MC for things that never happened besides his own imagination, wants to guilt trip him for literal nothing. Text barrage to MC and interrupts, stops and prevents him from delivering a reply. Yuma isn't her to talk just to vomit a verbal message and then leave. I won't be surprised if next chapter jumps to MC lost in thoughts because Yuma is already gone, no confrontation.


Let me be overly obvious once again.


This chapter isn't a confrontation.
It just delivering a blow to MC without letting him defend himself at all.


Just a wild thought, in this universe it seems nobody is able to use address or directions, their only mean of communication is the phone texts because phone calls are theoretically possible but when it happens one side won't answer the damn call.

And I won't even be surprised if Fumi feels soooo bad about it but rather than show accountability for her careless actions and directly meet Sakura and talk it out instead would do something ad equally retarded as Sakura like "Yuma, let Sakura go, I'll take her place as your sex sleeve" because it's Katsura fucking Airi and she already did that before.
