I personally despise cheaters. If I were to ever catch my girlfriend or wife cheating, to me that is unforgivable and it's over.

I actually have 2 brothers that cheated on their wife.

The first ended up working it out and are still married.

The other, they cheated on each other multiple times and eventually divorced. Neither of them got their life back together until over a decade later. They actually became friends with each other again but just friends. They both found new spouses and are very happily married and have never cheated on their current wife and husband.

My Sister went through two divorces. The first husband didnt cheat but he was a worthless pos and they divorced.

Her second husband cheated on her with my second brothers wife while they were both still married to their respective spouses. The second husband ended up destitute and found dead in his apartment a few years ago. He was a worthless human, so dont feel to bad for him.

My sister finally found the love of her life the third marriage. He is a wonderful man and she's never been happier.
 
I don't fundamentally understand cheaters because imo if you are willing to cheat and follow through with it. You don't care enough about your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend.

I love my brothers but I have no respect for those parts of their lives.

Idk man. I don't think it was rape, and I don't think the author's intention was really to go in that direction. I think one thing I've changed my mind about is whether the fuckboi's feelings for Sakura are genuine or sincere. I don't think the author wants that character to indirectly commit rape; I think she just vaguely implied that Sakura did give consent, I think the author sees Sakura kissing the fuckboy back as her way of giving consent, which is actually pretty simple or vague, to be honest

The thing is, in a typical NTR scenario, the woman initially refuses the sexual relationship because of who is forcing her and because she already has a partner. Later, either the first time or after a few times, she becomes lustful and agrees to the sexual relations, cheating on her partner because they aren't having sex, or because the sex isn't entirely satisfying, or simply because the sex with the person forcing her is better, and the fact that she's being forced only increases her lust.

Everything you brought up is factual, a lot of people mistook that Sakura expressly consented to the sex because she was shown to be feeling pleasure and even returning some kisses, but at most it is implied consent. She was initially trying to stop fuckboi up until the point she lost control because of the pleasure she felt (the rate of this was further amplified by Shinobu having recently refused one of her invitations to have sex). In court rape cases, implied consent never holds as a defense. Not that fuckboi is about to get taken to court anytime soon, just an example to show that Sakura did not give her body away as freely as people feel she did, and within such a short timespan there's no way she suddenly loves fuckboi the same way she loved Shinobu but a lot of this doesn't matter now becuase she is surrounded on all sides by Team Fuckboi

Regardless, by the time it was fuckboi's turn Sakura's libido must've been pretty elevated compared to the usual.

There's a soft confirmation that Sakura is staying at fuckboy's place at the cafe, we have yet to see if this is a lie or truth, but considering Sakura was fine living with Shinobu, she might not find it too difficult to just change gears and move in directly with fuckboi right out the gate.

I get your point. I’m not sure if I can explain mine clearly, but what I mean is that I don’t think that’s what the authors intended or were trying to do with the fuckboi character. The fuckboi character is a romantic rival to Shinobu. Unlike the other characters Sakura had to deal with in extreme situations, this one isn’t just after a physical relationship with Sakura. That’s why I don’t think it was rape.

Thanks for the countdown update cause I fumbled it. I think mostly Sakura was just expecting a listening ear, but the situation changed very quickly when fuckboi returned and saw her crying, it became a golden opportunity that fuckboi seized. Last thing I'll leave off with is that generally a woman in the middle of a teary outburst cannot legally nor ethically give consent, what Sakura was expressing once it got past the kissing was pleasure which still doesn't convey consent. Only thing I'll credit fuckboi for is at least hugging her and doing a confession first before he started thinking with his little brother downstairs too much.

The fuckboi character is a romantic rival to Shinobu. Unlike the other characters Sakura had to deal with in extreme situations, this one isn’t just after a physical relationship with Sakura. That’s why I don’t think it was rape.

Thats the Gary Sue vs MC for ya, fuckboi has been mr.perfect so far if we ignore the fact that everything he's done has been going off of misinformation. Hard for me to determine 100% if he's just after a purely physical or something deeper since he really didn't waste time after confessing there. If we compare the sex Sakura had with fuckboi vs Shinobu, I would say that fuckboi's was more passionate (physical), while Shinobu was more romantic (emotional). If fuckboi gets more time with Sakura all this can change over the next few chapters ofc, so I'm really praying it doesn't.

For example, he criticized Shinobu's professionalism from the start, acted very aggressively toward the actresses who tried to upset Sakura, his blonde actress friend said he had a bad temper and that's why he was alone, he told Sakura about the time he saw Shinobu with Fumi at the station, he confessed his feelings to a woman who was in a relationship and had sex with her when she was most vulnerable, even though she was still in a relationship and had come to him for advice on how to react; all of this makes his character a bit shady.

I like how you think and articulate your thoughts. Agree, more agree, and totally agree, I couldn't pinpoint aspects of fuckboi's character to criticize (even though I really I hate him) because kept up the "genuine" act so well on screen around Sakura. If we take some steps back and look at his conduct overall like you said, he's not nearly the shining knight in armor he thinks he might be. Would be an amazing plot twist down the road if we find out he has other side chicks that he picks up from every work project he goes to with blonde as his wingwoman every time.
