Man, that was a massive lore bomb, holy crap. Brother, I really wish nothing but the best for you and your sister—that everything goes well for all eternity. And for your brothers, too; even if they messed up, if they’ve learned from it, they should find happiness as well.I personally despise cheaters. If I were to ever catch my girlfriend or wife cheating, to me that is unforgivable and it's over.
I actually have 2 brothers that cheated on their wife.
The first ended up working it out and are still married.
The other, they cheated on each other multiple times and eventually divorced. Neither of them got their life back together until over a decade later. They actually became friends with each other again but just friends. They both found new spouses and are very happily married and have never cheated on their current wife and husband.
My Sister went through two divorces. The first husband didnt cheat but he was a worthless pos and they divorced.
Her second husband cheated on her with my second brothers wife while they were both still married to their respective spouses. The second husband ended up destitute and found dead in his apartment a few years ago. He was a worthless human, so dont feel to bad for him.
My sister finally found the love of her life the third marriage. He is a wonderful man and she's never been happier.
I don't fundamentally understand cheaters because imo if you are willing to cheat and follow through with it. You don't care enough about your spouse/boyfriend/girlfriend.
I love my brothers but I have no respect for those parts of their lives.
I might have some stories to sell to Airi
The thing is, in a typical NTR scenario, the woman initially refuses the sexual relationship because of who is forcing her and because she already has a partner. Later, either the first time or after a few times, she becomes lustful and agrees to the sexual relations, cheating on her partner because they aren't having sex, or because the sex isn't entirely satisfying, or simply because the sex with the person forcing her is better, and the fact that she's being forced only increases her lust.Idk man. I don't think it was rape, and I don't think the author's intention was really to go in that direction. I think one thing I've changed my mind about is whether the fuckboi's feelings for Sakura are genuine or sincere. I don't think the author wants that character to indirectly commit rape; I think she just vaguely implied that Sakura did give consent, I think the author sees Sakura kissing the fuckboy back as her way of giving consent, which is actually pretty simple or vague, to be honest
In Japanese AV cinema, women rarely report the crime. It's common for them to become lovers with their rapist or, through coercion, agree to have sex with him—sex that's always better than with their partner—thus breaking their will. I don't think she'll report the fuckboy either, but that could be one of the reasons why she isn't his new girlfriend, why they don't live together, or even why the blonde actress thinks she chose him. Today and tomorrow we can still consider possible resolutions to the story; let's see what the author proposes, if anything is clarified in chapter 131.Summarized your thoughts really well here, where it took me a lot more posts and words to say the same things. Everything you brought up is factual, a lot of people mistook that Sakura expressly consented to the sex because she was shown to be feeling pleasure and even returning some kisses, but at most it is implied consent. She was initially trying to stop fuckboi up until the point she lost control because of the pleasure she felt (the rate of this was further amplified by Shinobu having recently refused one of her invitations to have sex). In court rape cases, implied consent never holds as a defense. Not that fuckboi is about to get taken to court anytime soon, just an example to show that Sakura did not give her body away as freely as people feel she did, and within such a short timespan there's no way she suddenly loves fuckboi the same way she loved Shinobu but a lot of this doesn't matter now becuase she is surrounded on all sides by Team Fuckboi
Man Shinobu fumbled big time by refusing Sakura's invitation for sex that one time then. I think he was feeling guilty because he started having images of Fumi pop into his head from all the "lucky sukebe" incidents that happened pretty recently. Regardless, by the time it was fuckboi's turn Sakura's libido must've been pretty elevated compared to the usual. The thing is, in a typical NTR scenario, the woman initially refuses the sexual relationship because of who is forcing her and because she already has a partner. Its because fuckboy kept up a pretty genuine character across his interactions with her prior, we still have nothing to suggest he's two-faced but I just despise the two-man coercion act he and the blonde pulled whether it was intentional or not. There's a soft confirmation that Sakura is staying at fuckboy's place at the cafe, we have yet to see if this is a lie or truth, but considering Sakura was fine living with Shinobu, she might not find it too difficult to just change gears and move in directly with fuckboi right out the gate.In Japanese AV cinema, women rarely report the crime. I get your point. I’m not sure if I can explain mine clearly, but what I mean is that I don’t think that’s what the authors intended or were trying to do with the fuckboi character. The fuckboi character is a romantic rival to Shinobu. Unlike the other characters Sakura had to deal with in extreme situations, this one isn’t just after a physical relationship with Sakura. Thanks for the countdown update cause I fumbled it. I think mostly Sakura was just expecting a listening ear, but the situation changed very quickly when fuckboi returned and saw her crying, it became a golden opportunity that fuckboi seized. Last thing I'll leave off with is that generally a woman in the middle of a teary outburst cannot legally nor ethically give consent, what Sakura was expressing once it got past the kissing was pleasure which still doesn't convey consent. Only thing I'll credit fuckboi for is at least hugging her and doing a confession first before he started thinking with his little brother downstairs too much. Now it's 5 more hours until she makes this big announcement.
And I don't think it was rape Sakura knew what she wanted when she got there.
Thats the Gary Sue vs MC for ya, fuckboi has been mr.perfect so far if we ignore the fact that everything he's done has been going off of misinformation. Hard for me to determine 100% if he's just after a purely physical or something deeper since he really didn't waste time after confessing there. If we compare the sex Sakura had with fuckboi vs Shinobu, I would say that fuckboi's was more passionate (physical), while Shinobu was more romantic (emotional). If fuckboi gets more time with Sakura all this can change over the next few chapters ofc, so I'm really praying it doesn't.I get your point. Hmm, I think he is looking for something deeper. I was rereading it, and the confession in (127) is actually his second confession. In the first confession (123), he told her she didn’t have to give him an answer, and I think he did seem to regret having made it and it seems like he went to pray so that his confession would work. I think that when it comes to Sakura, he’s being sincere and is indeed looking for something deeper. I still think he has his flaws, especially with Shinobu, but with Sakura, he’s being seriousThats the Gary Sue vs MC for ya, fuckboi has been mr.perfect so far if we ignore the fact that everything he's done has been going off of misinformation. I suppose we'll know on Thursday. It's true, as I mentioned before, that Fuckboy says he always tells the truth, even if it's upsetting, so it's possible that everything he told Shinobu is true, but I think the reason for his meeting with Shinobu, other than it being just to humiliate him, isn't clear. On the other hand, even if Sakura consented to the sexual relations and went to Fuckboy's house willingly, they were forced at first. From the posts in the last few chapters, it seems Sakura felt some kind of attraction, but was it enough to change partners like that? We also don't clearly know how Sakura reacts when she's in extreme situations. Yes, she was willing to quit gravure because she couldn't make a living from it; she also quit and ran away almost without saying goodbye when her mother found out she was doing that. And we also know that Sakura had a certain attraction to Shinobu because she was the first person who helped her, encouraged her, and put all her effort into making Sakura's dream come true, but is that love, admiration, or gratitude? Its because fuckboy kept up a pretty genuine character across his interactions with her prior, we still have nothing to suggest he's two-faced but I just despise the two-man coercion act he and the blonde pulled whether it was intentional or not. I hate him too.I still hate him.
I thought he was honest until I read Japanese comments that spoke ill of him. I think he seems genuinely looking for something more serious with Sakura, but his behavior isn't exactly clean, and that's why many of us find him unsettling. For example, he criticized Shinobu's professionalism from the start, acted very aggressively toward the actresses who tried to upset Sakura, his blonde actress friend said he had a bad temper and that's why he was alone, he told Sakura about the time he saw Shinobu with Fumi at the station, he confessed his feelings to a woman who was in a relationship and had sex with her when she was most vulnerable, even though she was still in a relationship and had come to him for advice on how to react; all of this makes his character a bit shady.Hmm, I think he is looking for something deeper. Indeed, Thursday soon pls. Cafe meeting has two possible reasons: 1) To completely cut off Shinobu from Sakura, because while fuckboi may have Sakura for now, Shinobu refusing to give up on her still poses risks in the long run, especially if/when misinformation ever comes to light. 2) The second reason is a lot more unlikely, but since fuckboi brings up the oral contract between Shinobu and Sakura and then immediately tries to downplay it, it could be more relevant than we think since it'd mean Shinobu is still her manager, meaning he'd have ways to reach out to her with fuckboi agreeing to it.I suppose we'll know on Thursday. Well I'm leaning hard towards a fumi route the end run time table lines up.Indeed, Thursday soon pls. There are so many possibilities it's going to make my head explode. Really, anything is possible depending on what the author wants to do to continue the story.Indeed, Thursday soon pls. I like how you think and articulate your thoughts. Agree, more agree, and totally agree, I couldn't pinpoint aspects of fuckboi's character to criticize (even though I really I hate him) because kept up the "genuine" act so well on screen around Sakura. If we take some steps back and look at his conduct overall like you said, he's not nearly the shining knight in armor he thinks he might be. Would be an amazing plot twist down the road if we find out he has other side chicks that he picks up from every work project he goes to with blonde as his wingwoman every time.I thought he was honest until I read Japanese comments that spoke ill of him.
