We will have an idea as to where the story is going in at least 5 chapters of story telling but if course that could take 10 for reasons I shouldn't have to state but most of us do not really care what happens with sakura but it could still be the authors intent we have to wait and see.

The last Karami Zakari release proves this and since it isn’t an "IF“ chapter it should be canon. The FMC however still gets railed by different people and the only way she seems to get MCs attention at all is when she sends him the footage of those "gatherings“. This latest Karami Zakari release, which actually further developed Kousei and Iiida's future happened this year in 2026, for reference that is a full 6 years since their last canonical appearance, which was believed to be the ending for the series back in 2020, in which Kousei seemed to end up as a damaged adult that forsake all relationships to remain as Iiida's "friend" who gets to hear her latest sexual adventures.

Everything since was spin-offs and post-epilogues for Takeshi and Niiyama. With that said, Katsura Airi coming back to release a new Karami Zakari volume that surprisingly made Kousei move on from Iida and get married doesn't really strike me as her not punishing her FMCs or nor not hating her MCs, to me it looks like Katsura is just willing to use every narrative tool at her disposal to keep working on Karami Zakari whenever necessary, it is her guaranteed bread winner.

She did everything with Kousei and Iida by now, especially if you take the spin-offs into account, Kousei has the honor of having an official yaoi spin-off where the guy who first took the girl liked to also fuck him in the ass, how many netorare MCs can claim that badge of shame? Is there definitive proof of this, the final panel didn't paint the whole picture from that angle, not denying the possibility but we'll have to wait and see in 131. I will say if thats the next nuke Yuma lays out onto Shinobu than at that point I won't blame him for freezing up and going depression mode, but considering her remaining career still bro likely excercised some gentlemanly restraint let's assume.
