How do people know this, is their track record really bad or is it just the fact that they could've stopped the story from playing out like it did.

I don't really know how it works but sometimes the editor keeps the author from doing something stupid or is the one pushing for something stupid.

I forgot I bought this week's issue last week, and when I came to check what happened with this week's Gurapara, the number of comments was insane lol. I also felt so disgusted that I commented for the first time last week, so I'm glad there are so many people who feel the same way lol. Although it's an NTR manga, I thought that the main character Sakura would narrowly avoid being NTR'd and head towards a happy ending with Shinobu, so I'm really disappointed. To be honest, I don't expect Sakura to make a comeback from here. I do want her to be happy with Fumi, but if she goes straight for Fumi, I'll think Shinobu is just as bad, so I want them both to hit rock bottom for a while.

Based comment. I'm just not normal is what I've come to realize after spending a few days here bwahaha. I also don't like Fumi route because while it's not completely her fault, her not existing means none of this happens and so Shinobu going to her after Sakura leaves feels wrong to me and also tells me there's absolutely no turning back from this point.

Okay I understand, yea the Editor in that case is just as guilty, but for arguments sake lets maintain that Katsura is the biggest offender here while the Artist and Editor have enough common sense between them to properly discuss where they go from here.

I'm going with it being a Karami Zakari anime adaption or side-story spinoff again. As for the story of this manga, sure as it stands it's on verge of being irredeemable, can't blame people for feeling it's joe. It's going to take an unreal level of psychological loopholing and MC badassery to pull off any semblance of a sensible ending, but considering the nonsense that led to all this I won't scorn a nonsensible ending either barring it being an ending where both MC/FMC end up in the pits of despair.

I'd say psychological manipulation has been a big motif for this manga, specifically emotional manipulation. Mangakas behind the scenes on top of all the storyboarding and drawing also need do a lot of research to feed back into the creative process. Having gone on for 3 years and counting, I'll credit Katsura Airi just enough to believe a bit that they put more thought into the last few chapters to achieve something other than just "haha ntr go brrr".

What can be taken can be taken back it depends on what the author will write.

Mangakas behind the scenes on top of all the storyboarding and drawing also need do a lot of research to feed back into the creative process. Volume 13 doesn't release until August 6th

So it's possible this announcement is announcing the last volume dose anyone know if she has done that before?

The cheating definite no, everything else is fair game. Contract can be voided, seems like she didn't have much stuff to move out. As for her feelings I'd say its still split between fuckboi and Shinobu, physically she maybe belongs to the fuckboi right now but emotionally she still has some lingering attachment to Shinbou that will take time to fade.

Well at least 4 more chapters at a minimum see if it comes out in Aug 6 there isn't enough time for chapter 135,136,137 in that time fram.

Found that specific tweet where she talked about this. Some nuances are probably lost in auto TL but overall I'm feeling a bit more positive after reading it. She acknowledges that this is a work between her, her artist, and her editor and so she needs their input on top of her own. She then says the reason for her becoming a mangaka is because the stories she wants to read aren't out there. The tweet doesn't come off as her intentionally mocking fans for their feelings about the story, she even started the tweet by expressing gratitude for both positive and negative feedback. She did follow that by nitpicking of the comments calling for redraws and sarcastically saying they could send their own manuscript to the publisher, but it felt more good humored to me rather than purely just trying to be mean in a clapback.

Agreed! makes all the speculation talk more fun as the chapters go by and more bits and pieces of info come to light.

Well that is the thing I have seen plenty of netorare stories where the pathetic guy loses the girl that's not new to me him winning her back though rather rare.
