Everyone is right to be mad but it's also important to acknowledge the facts beyond trying to frame it to get even more mad.
Everyone who read the chapter 128 and 129 carefully and "NOTICE" Sakura's arms will clearly see she did not lift her skirt and undress herself. So, it's an obvious fact, not an excuse.

If @CraneBrane @Deadstar230 @VuongOuki and etc. insisted they saw the same thing (Sakura lifted her skirt and undressed herself), it must be a fan-made version on the other web sites, not the official version on MangaDex or MagaPoke.

Also, the person who has been burnt by the framed anger is ourselves. We gave ourselves suffering, not the others.

Hence, Airi Katsura (sensei) didn't just destroy Grapara and her own reputation but she destroyed some readers' mental health and causes a rift as well. So sad.

Sorry, you and @CraneBrane must re-read the 128 and 129 again like I did. I do insist I thought like both of you before but I changed my mind after seeing many Japanese comments on MagaPoke (not on Twitter) mentioned about rape in chapter 129 before they're deleted or hidden by the web admin.

And from what I know because I also have an account on MagaPoke, those comments were from different Japanese readers because once your comment is deleted or hidden, you'll not be able to comment for a long period. So, the assumption that those Japanese comments were from the same person or a group of people seemed to be impossible for me.

That's why I was curious why these Japanese people mentioned the same thing and if it's not true, why the web admin quickly deleted them. So, I re-read it carefully and tried to find the answer about the definition of rape in Japan which may be different from the other countries.

Back to Sakura, if we notice carefully from chapter 128 till now, both of Sakura’s arms remain raised above her waist. So she did not remove her own skirt or undressed herself like being accused. So the fucboy is 90% at fault on raping her or whatever you said to soften it as the taking advantage. Please give her justice. We can angry and blame her for being extremely stupid but not to her having sex with the fucboy.

@Alsatia and @diphuc1 always pinpoint and are right in the matter that Sakura often finds herself unable to resist because she is the type of person who reaches orgasm easily from the kind of genital stimulation as we saw the director and Shinobu performed (and now the fucboy) leaving her too drained to fight back afterward.

Consequently, Sakura simply allows the fucboy to do as he pleases. She kissed him back but she did not undress herself. The fucboy removed all her clothes and likely carried her to the bed as well.

This is the reason why the fucboy sticks to the missionary position with both Sakura’s arms always raised above her waist. We never see her embracing him till now, right?

Please be fair.

Also, the author and the artist of Grapara are not the same person. If it's possible that the artist disagree with Airi Katsura (sensei)'s idea but he cannot argue her. So he secretly helped her with his drawings by leaving the plot holes she can use to to fix the story later?
I respectfully disagree.

I will concede that she didn’t remove the cloths herself, that’s a valid point. Yuma was taking initiative. But her intent and consent was there. You don’t voluntarily move to the bedroom with your ‘rapist’ knowing what is going to happen after, especially after such a kissing and groping session nor do you watch him put the condom on and think ‘Yea he’s just gonna helicopter his dick’. at any point she could have said ‘Stop’.

Silence means compliance, especially if you have the power to stop it. In this case Sakura does have the power to stop it. If Yuma persists despite her attempts? Then, yes. It’s rape. If the Japanese definition is different, then let me know. I’m referring to the conventional meanings of rape.

Yuma took advantage of her feelings of heartbreak. But rape? She was under no external influence, drunk, or blackmailed so she was totally aware of what she was about to do nor did she show any resistance in 128 and 129 to suggest so.

I was a mess 3+ weeks ago. Discussions here have been fun and helped me manage by pointing out things I missed or didn't think about. All I'm hoping for now is that the story picks itself up (which is sort of is) from the free fall and can reach an ending that doesn't squander the artists amazing work of 3+ years.

There's maybe like 4 panels or less where she does attempt some resistance, but fucboi was not stopping no matter what at that point, and even if Sakura was in a sound state of mind she had zero physcial ability to stop him outside of a kick to the balls. Anyways the topic of rape is always unsavory and really is irrelevant to the story, it was more of an entertaining passing thought at best for people to bounce around.

If we get a rug pull like this I'm going to laugh but find nothing funny.

I'm in favor of the theory that Sakura and Nakanishi aren't dating and that their sex was just that one time, and that Nakanishi's partner in episode 131 is a different girl, but I'm worried about what will happen if Sakura and Nakanishi have sex in the next episode, and it makes my heart ache on Thursdays.

I don't think it matters whether she's moved on or still has lingering feelings. If Sakura chooses not to go see Shinobu after learning the truth, then there's really nothing that can be done. Sakura didn't say anything to Shinobu, who had helped her, and decided on a new agency on her own that same day, transferring immediately, and then unilaterally rejected Shinobu. In the end, that was a misunderstanding. It's not about how she feels, but she hurt someone who had been kind to her, so she should go and talk to him. It's not so much that she was cheated on, but rather that she smiled back at the mocking words calling Shinobu a "guy like that," and that she selfishly changed who she was freeloading off of. That kind of pettiness is what's so irritating.

Sakura-chan can resolve all her stress through sex, so knowing the truth will only make her indulge in the act more intensely. In a face-to-face sitting position, she seductively shakes her hips while making a submissive face, and after taking the pill, she begs for a direct ejaculation, completely destroying the brains of any readers who still have a glimmer of hope that Sakura-chan will get back together.

Last time, the fact that the faces of the two women at Nakanishi's house weren't clearly depicted might be a misdirection to lull Sakura fans into a false sense of security, making them think it might not be Sakura after all. However, from the next chapter onward, their faces are clearly shown, and the story gradually depicts Sakura actively engaging in sex with Nakanishi, including oral sex and cowgirl position, showing how she's being corrupted by Nakanishi, perhaps a strategy to brainwash the readers.

Certainly, more than the fact that she was cheated on, Sakura's selfishness and pettiness are what I find most repulsive. I don't mind that her heart and soul are now with Nakanishi, but I'm furious that she hasn't even offered a word of thanks for all the help she's received up until now. On the other hand, Shinobu has done so much for Sakura, and I'm still rooting for him despite this outcome. I don't think they should get back together, but I hope he properly acknowledges everything she's done up until now. And that would be enough for Sakura to just say, "Let's both do our best."

All I want is for Sakura to get NTR'd in return. Even if there are any good scenes depicting her in the future, I want her to fall from grace. And I want her to regret it. And I don't want them to get back together.

Thank you but it's not a winning or losing, my friends. We've full rights to hate Sakura but it must be from what she really did in the official version, not from a fan-made version both with drawings or without drawings.

Thank you for asking. You're welcome. I think @diphuc1 may be interested in reading it too. Here are some news that your can read them for free. Details on paid web sites are unnecessary (for normal people who are not lawyers).

Not just the definition was changed but the law also outlined "eight specific scenarios" where it is legally recognized that a victim had not to consent to sex. If Sakura finds herself in any of these eight scenarios, the fuckboy will be arrested immediately without arguing about the consent.

These eight scenarios are very important to catch the rapist because proving an absence of consent can be difficult as most victims are afraid to speak and the rapists always speak by themselves their victims agreed to have sex.

Sexual Violence Statistics and Trends in Japan

While Japan has a safe reputation, government data shows that sexual violence occurs:
  • 50 times more often than official police reports reflect.
  • 1 in 3 women in Japan have experienced violence from her partner.
  • 1 in 13 women have experienced rape in her lifetime,
  • but only 5-10% have reported it to the police.
  • Police record 1/2 or less of reported cases while prosecutors charge about 1/3 of recorded cases.
  • Recently, drink spiking has increased in Tokyo, especially in areas with more tourists.

Guys I think the jp readers hate sakura.

Looks like we've really entered the Fumi-chan route. I hope Sakura experiences hell somewhere along the line.

Huh, Airi with some repost about making mistakes as a mangaka....surprisingly an interesting one. Going to have a good laugh if 133 goes right back into making mistakes.

I don't think it applies to grapara. Or maybe it does.
I mean it's just a slightly relevant message that kind of applies to Airi atm. Not much to really glean from it, might suggest a change in her mentality/plans for GraPara! or it might be a nothingburger but it's just one of the more interesting things she's done on X lately since publisher-kun told her to chill

Big ass iF right now.
Maybe not as big, at the very least we are for sure going to get a "final meeting" between the two before the end of the manga. As bad at writing as we want to say Airi is, this isn't one of her H-manga type solo works and even Airi doesn't really commit crimes against humanity, which ShiKura not getting a single face-face before the manga ends would qualify as imo.

They will most certainly meet again but if it's meaningless it would be unsatisfying.

It would take a cosmic level of intentional self-sabotage and bad writing atp, that'd make 128>129 look tame for even Airi to fumble. It's been months in the story already, who knows how much longer til they meet, but when they do, even a pedestrian level effort will make it effective because of the time they've spent apart, and the misunderstanding never resolved. Things really change when you're face to face with someone instead of just thinking about them. Like good friends who never text but whenever they meetup its instantly a good time.

I just want to see the plot development where that playboy's career is ruined by a scandal, Sakura drowns in regret, and those blonde girls have to beg for a role in the movie of Shinobu—the very person they once called 'a guy like him.'

But in this case, Sakura is the one who committed infidelity and betrayed everything, while Shinobu is the betrayed one. The two of them are not friends here.
