Yes, that wouldn't happen. If Sakura is shown to be with "someone" or if it becomes clear she's with fuccboi, there will be more pre-order cancellations and a new hate wave. Maybe we will know about Sakura's relationship status when sufficient time has passed so KA isn't accused of succumbing to fan pressure or, if it's shown that fuccboi was all the way up on that, she can give the fans something to counter balance the hate.

It does feel like we're getting near the limit of how long KA can hide it, perhaps we find out in ~24 hours from now. Something to counterbalance the hate if fucboiXSakura are an item feels like something that does not exist atp, but I suppose if fucboi is exposed as a womanizing cheater it'll take a bit of the heat off, but not much because Sakura will been together with him all these months without noticing so she ends up looking extra extra stupid.

Regardless of the ending, I don't think we'll get anything that remotely resembles a doujin. I mean, anything is possible but that would really beg belief. It's really unbelievable how much she fumbled this one. Even Ryohzoh had the sense of not having the FMC be NTR'd on Itaiamai, and that was fully hentai. He saved the brutal NTR for the side characters.
