Well, I'm pessimistic about everything related to Sakura, but when it comes to Fumi and Shinobu, I think that's the only thing I'm really sure won't lead to anything weird

I thought the same but I think the author wants to double down on her "writing style" to show that it's her work so she'll do fumi ntr out of spite. Basically rage baiting audience and getting more volume/chapter sales. I thought fumi ntr wouldn't be teased for a couple chapters but it immediately being brought up idk, i think author definitely knows people care less about sakura now so she has to use a different more impactful target like fumi.

But it could still just be bait and mc ends up with fumi in the end but definitely feels sketch imo

I saw some people calling that the sell of next volumes are really bad and got wrost so if she does that she only make damages for her and the publisher.

I was surprised at just how much heat this series was copping from the domestic audience. Usually we rarely see eye to eye on plots, but its pretty generally accepted this shit is ass if sakura comes out without karma. Author speedrunning burning bridges.

Yea, Fumi is getting into the early bait stages of it all, with any luck she'll be cautious since she was almost raped by the scammer and she trusts Shinobu.

The impact was very subtle if you could it even call it an impact. We were hoping for something more direct but Mio and Nagi sympathized with Sakura, and near the end after pouring their hearts out a bit more to each other they "lightened" Shinobu's "cheating" saying things like how cocky he is and how they'll slug him next time they see him turning it into a joke of sorts so that it weighs less heavily on Sakura going forward. No proof that there is any deeper intent behind this, just thought it an interesting thing to note. What the meeting actually achieved is encouraging Sakura to maybe take the new role offer, and potentially enable her to confront Shinobu directly in the future over her misunderstanding, something that she failed to do since 127.

The problem isn't what she's believing though, it's the fact that what she is saying to people now looks even more absurd given her inaction to confirm anything which was already crazy in itself given that she acted so decisively on it.

However, I saw that the general public hated this and also began to hate the female character. Do you think the author is taking this into account and preparing a positive response for the audience, such as making the protagonist come out on top morally?

No, never. Look at her last works for reference. She is a huge slut defender, and will throw her male protags to hell without hesitation.

Oh I didn't know the sales were already bad then yeah it's might just be bait for fumi ngl. But since sales are already bad could just go full bad ending and screw both fumi and sakura over since it's already hard to save the series sales, may as well farm the series for drama instead of trying to regain lost readers (or just include more censored ntr sex scenes to increase volume sales). Idk guess we'll see by next chapter, it'll be obvious if it's a fake out or not then.

Yeah I couldn't figure out how to take it really. I know they were trying to boost Sakura's confidence by giving her some advice after breaking up with Shinobu because of his "cheating". My question is then is whether the author will have them find out the other side of it. Since Shinobu knows the truth and also knows Sakura spent the night with fuckboi. Since Sakura left that out completely. If they were to find that out, I'm curious on how it would go from there. Or will KA just not let it be discovered and just continue making it where Shinobu is viewed as the person in the wrong?

One thing is Mio at least has contact info of Shinobu so she could hit him up and see what's going on. By the looks of the conversation, she hasn't mentioned fuckboi either so there's the chance they may not be an item but it's hard to say.
