No way you are saying kissing with your eyes open is a sign of emotional detachment, what?
That's not what he's saying. It's listed as one of the reasons one kisses with eyes open on Google for me.

He was just stating possibilities but it's honestly a detail that can be skipped hahah

shinobu is in the state of disbelief. He is pretty aware that this girl in front of him is not sakura and his heart doesn't ache for her anymore.
Yes, he finally moved on.

I think if the story goes down the 'Revenge' route now, depicting ShiFumi's life getting better and better while punishing Sakura and that playboy, it will attract more readers than constantly trying to find a way to redeem Sakura. Most people nowadays want to see Sakura suffer, not be redeemed.

She WILL suffer, don't know if it will be in the way people hope, issue is it probably won't be in isolation because she'll have her yes crew around like blonde/fucboi and might even cross paths with Shinobu at a point.

If Fumi ended also being taken away, it confirmed that Airi just hated men and saw that whatever happened it all of their faults cause Sakura is getting away scot free from cheating holy shit

Sincere question for you guys. I believe the author surrendered to betrayal solely because of a fantasy she has. However, I saw that the general public hated this and also began to hate the female character. Do you think the author is taking this into account and preparing a positive response for the audience, such as making the protagonist come out on top morally?
Considering she is extremely spiteful to any criticisms toward her and her works, no. She would honestly be more likely to double down on the NTR to spite everyone reading it

I think if she does that she'll just pressing a self-destruction button for her mangaka career.

As a mangaka, yes. As a hentai author, no. She has gather a large enough fan in that field already, hell she is about to get a live action JAV based on her bloody work lol. She most likely wouldn't give a single shit if she can't write managa anymore

Well for now going by her social media activities she's dialed it back enough that we don't have to worry bout GraPara! being nuked from her end any further. If she does anything more dramatic it'll leave a bad mark on her regardless of her fallback hentai author option, reputation carries.

After they sleep together, Shinobu does not immediately leave, nor do they awkwardly distance themselves from each other. He stays at Fumi’s home and continues writing his script, while Fumi rests peacefully beside him.

This quiet scene carries several meanings.
I believe this scene represents more than just Shinobu and Fumi officially becoming a couple. It is showing that *Fumi has entered the most private and essential part of Shinobu’s life and creative world. *

First, Fumi has become part of Shinobu’s everyday life.

Sex is only the clearest sign that their relationship has changed. What matters more is what happens afterward.

One person works while the other sleeps nearby. This is no longer a scene driven by passion, but something close to domestic life. Fumi does not need to constantly entertain or please Shinobu, and Shinobu does not feel neglected simply because she has fallen asleep. They can naturally share the same space.

Their relationship is moving from mutual support, to romance and physical intimacy, and then toward something resembling a life partnership.

Second, Shinobu does not stop creating after becoming intimate with Fumi.

He continues writing the script, which suggests that Fumi’s love does not make him lose himself or abandon his goals. Instead, her presence gives him a safe and peaceful environment in which he can continue creating.

In his relationship with Sakura, Shinobu was constantly giving, filming for her, helping her career, and dealing with her problems. Much of his life revolved around supporting Sakura. With Fumi, however, he can remain beside her while still focusing on his own work.

Fumi is not someone who requires Shinobu to sacrifice himself in order to take care of her. She is someone who allows Shinobu to continue being himself.

Third, Fumi feels completely safe beside Shinobu.

The fact that she can sleep peacefully after they have confirmed their physical relationship suggests that she no longer fears that Shinobu will suddenly leave. She does not need to keep checking whether he truly loves her.

Fumi has long understood that Shinobu and Sakura share a deep history. For her to fall asleep beside him now symbolizes that she finally believes:

When I wake up, Shinobu will still be here.

And Shinobu truly does remain there.

Fourth, the scene may be written as a direct contrast to Sakura and Nakanishi’s relationship.

Sakura and Nakanishi’s relationship is mainly connected to lust, escape, confusion, and self-destruction. Even though they have a physical relationship, it does not naturally create emotional stability or a peaceful shared life.

Shinobu and Fumi are presented in the opposite way. After sex, there is no emptiness, guilt, or emotional distance. Instead, there is creativity, sleep, and quiet companionship.

That may be emphasizing that Nakanishi gained access to Sakura’s body, but never truly understood her. Fumi, on the other hand, has not only given herself physically to Shinobu; she has also entered his dreams, his daily life, and his creative world.

Their intimacy is the result of a relationship that has gradually developed. It is not a tool for escaping from emotional problems.

Fifth, Fumi may now be both the source of Shinobu’s inspiration and the first person who shares his creative process.

The fact that Shinobu writes beside her may symbolize that the story he is creating is no longer only about processing his past with Sakura. He is now reinterpreting that past while being supported by Fumi.

Sakura may still remain an important model or source of inspiration within the script, but the person who stays beside Shinobu while he writes it is now Fumi.

That is especially cruel from Sakura’s perspective:

She may still exist inside Shinobu’s work, but she no longer exists in his present life.

Overall, this scene feels like that is formally declaring that Fumi is no longer merely a substitute who helped Shinobu recover from his wounds. She is the partner Shinobu has chosen in the present.

The truly decisive image is not the sex itself, but the peaceful moment afterward. Shinobu is writing his future, while Fumi sleeps safely beside him. They do not consume or damage each other, and they do not need dramatic promises to prove their relationship. Their quiet closeness already resembles the life of a married couple.

From a narrative perspective, this makes Shinobu and Fumi’s relationship extremely difficult to reverse. Even if Shinobu later speaks honestly with Sakura, understands her pain, or forgives her, that would more likely serve as closure for the past rather than a restoration of their romantic relationship.

Sakura is the past Shinobu still needs to finish writing.

Fumi is the person who remains beside him while he continues writing the rest of his life.

Take it easy, there's no need to get upset because I criticized your favorite mangaka cuck.
And now you’ve started insulting me because I’ve called you out for being a cuck who reads shit and then complains about its taste. Katsura Airi is a shitty writer who writes shit for cucks and you’re the cucks who happily devour it and then complain about it.

Basically it's like your wife is fucking another dude and I'm telling you to divorce her but instead of following my advice you're complaining about me supposedly defending your wife.
That's ok, keep doing what you do, maybe your wife's boyfriend will let you watch as he fucks her.

Your post is honestly so good. 1,000 likes for this! I also felt really warmed by the manga pages depicting life after Shinobu and Fumi made love. The next day, or maybe several days later (since scriptwriting can take days), they happily went shopping together. Seeing Fumi sleeping so peacefully next to Shinobu while he was working gave me a feeling of overflowing love.

Even though it was thanks to meeting Sakura that Shinobu got the chance to enter the entertainment industry and reunite with his friend Kazu, that’s where it ends. Shinobu sacrificed his dream of filmmaking and sacrificed himself to give 100% of his effort to support Sakura's career. Yet in the end, Sakura easily brushed all of that aside, only listening to people she just met instead of putting her trust in the person who stood by her side and helped her through her toughest years.

Now is the time for Shinobu to live for himself and live for his dream, with Fumi by his side as his source of motivation. I just hope Airi doesn't go crazy and create forced situations to bring Sakura back.

The Japanese comments are gold, they are saying that Sakura has full on gone from heroine to being the main villain of the story.
So you're really enjoying the series (drama), huh? Surely, comments are the essence of NTR.
i just now realized that they black out the guy's nipples too. whoever is in charge of the censorship must be trolling
You're calling his nipples not erotic?!
