It's a bit obscure so people don't know about it. I use it sometimes to check the raws of some mangas the TL groups abandoned...

Yes but this will also fuel that xenophobic crowed in Japan which people should be thinking about Arir isn't racist but seeing how she is getting treated by over seas readers I won't blame her if she holds a grudge as I have said WE weren't her targeted audience so she wasn't expecting or prepared to deal with us. We act very different than the domestic audience to Japanese society we are very rude I believe.

The issue is that she brought it up at all, have to ignore it.

Alright, thanks for @Cross-21- for the link to volume images.

I was gonna check out volume 13 but then thought that checking volume 11 would be better since it was the Shinobu and Sakura sex scene.

What I can confirm? Sakura definitely has pubes. There's still a black box for the penis but the nipples are shown. When it came to Sakura's crotch however it was more like a white out rather than a black box.

And that panel of Shinobu seeing Sakura bent over. It only shows her butt, no holes like in the fan uncensor (panel is in 101). When it comes to the intercourse the genitalia doesn't seem to be drawn when it shows the underside of Sakura's body but her pubes are still shown.

Interesting finds all the same.

I just don't see it as her being mentally ill.

I do not know whether she is mentally ill or not.

What I do know, based on her writings:

- She doesn't do narrative flows well. Her stories seem to flow from scene to scene without any regard to what could/has happened in between.

- She doesn't do dialogs well. She has her characters have small conversations where the most obvious human thing to say is left unsaid because it would harm the plot direction. Good writers make their characters human, she makes them puppets.

- She is unable to provide good cues or uses extra panels to introduce doubt about situations without any narrative development behind it.

- She probably thinks artistic freedom means tonal whiplash without any forewarning. Someone on X mentioned Trigun and Gintama as examples of tonal shift, but they weren't done from one chapter to the other.

And of course, I will always question her intelligence... What did she expect when she introduced chapter 129 after 128 chapters of comedy, baits and light NTR that no one had a problem with?

Here lies the biggest issue with Grapara! for which she is absolutely not the sole responsible. She had vanilla readers flirt with the idea of NTR, after the director scene, people were mad at Sakura, not at KA. It is great for an artist when readers immerse themselves so much that they discuss, hate, love, disparage the character rather than the quality of the writing.

And she nuked that with 129.

I would pay good money to have the transcripts of the editorial and publisher meetings...

Thinking for an extra second, it might be an issue with hentai mangakas.
Hentai is mainly fetish fueled, as in, the narrative is secondary to the fetish delivery.
It doesn't matter how they get there, it matters that every chapter has the fetish fuel for the enjoyers.
So a lot of nonsensical stuff is forgiven because nobody is there to check character motivations or analyze flow of events.
It's less "oh, this conversation will have repercussions in the relation of x with y" and more "ooh, milf is about to fuck in stockings ziiip"
So often they do not know what to do in-between the ecchi and they end up katsuring their story.

To be fair, this forum is being treated as a Discord server with the Wild Bunch frequently commenting as long as there is Grapara! fodder. I think KA will still keep this forum alive for a week or so if any of her loved ones doesn't take her phone away.
