Group order in the embed thumbnail preview does not reflect group order on site

Take this chapter for example. On the MangaDex listing, Danke fürs Lesen is chosen as the first group by the uploader and Boredom Society as second. However on the thumbnail preview, the selected group order is ignored and is instead sorted alphabetically.
