Clearly both of the mascots are working together, They look unreasonably suspiciously similar. They're practically the same being. The best way for this to play out is Vena is just playing both sides of the field to harvest the most energy.

They are separate entities, who have both appeared at the same time and talked to each other. Vena is more aggressive and cunning, while Vatz is more passive and timid. It is still possible the are working toward a common goal, or they really could be twin races that are fighting like they originally said. That is one of the big remaining questions of the series.

or they just bang and it is reabsorbed, who knows

Main villain X goody two-shoes protagonist ships are the best. I'm rooting for this to happen and start a new ship.

Pretty amusing to see how buddy-buddy Tres Magia and Enormeeta are, to the point of Kyouko/Sulfur calling out Utena/Baiser just to get her to apologize (and maybe murder her a little bit). Also nice to see Baiser's bad old self rearing its head every now and then (she wants to fix Haruka/Magenta, but she also wants to be alive to see it!). All in all an interesting chapter even with nothing much happening.

On another note though, we finally got a Non-lewd chapter and I'm honestly glad. It's a nice breather.
I do find myself still wondering how such a lewd nhinged manga has such a good plot with even better pacing though...
