Well I can tell from what we know here in these glimpses that Rachel's old worldview before her regression is in line with what we know in the original story.

Her concerns mostly lie in the going ons of the noble society, especially in regards to the noblewomen, since that's where most of her battlefields lie, so she never gave a thought about the commoners and considered the subject beneath her ilk. It doesn't really help that one of her closest confidants is the bitch Katrina.

Losing everything actually helped bringing her down to earth and focus on the other things that are happening around her instead of the noble society.

The more I read this, the more I consider not putting many of these scenes in the main series is doing such a massive disservice to the readers who only know of the main series. This all provides some very necessary context on the main characters besides Anna, and even with Anna, knowing this version of her is necessary to understand the relationships going on in this previous timeline.

saint and cook are so damn cute together. but sheesh seeing what was gonig on from the saints perspective really makes us hate that 2 faced noble girl more... screwing with so many peoples lives just because she wants to be queen...

personally I appreciate that they are separate far more. it's incredibly hard to maintain the 2 tones of the different points of view and to get people to appreciate the important bits when you are constantly jumping from misunderstandings to truth reveals. given how different the 2 saints behave I think many readers would have just gotten confused, complained and dropped the story before we finally get all the details.

And said concern is probably molded by the bitch Katrina.

I don't think it's so much the losing everything that brought her down and more the bitch Katrina finally revealing herself that made Rachel realized what twisted monster she was molded into.

Molded by bitch Katrina yes, but her realization was definitely from losing everything.

She only realized what kind of a conceited lifestyle she herself had after losing everything, getting her most loyal maid killed right before her own death, and regressing only to lose every single drop of magic power she had. Only when she had basically nothing left, she was able to look back on her own conceitedness on having all that power, using it for her own gains and not for the betterment of the commoners.

And I think she only realized how much of a venomous snake Katrina actually was due to her encounters with her after the regression. Like, before then Rachel knows Katrina was out to get her specifically for her status as the prince's fiance (especially when her entourage berates her after losing the engagement in the previous timeline), but only after knowing the extent of the things Katrina would do to bring her down again (since Rachel refuses to get along with her anymore) did she know how deep that rabbit hole goes.

Ngl i havent read the main series, once tried the first few chapters and just get bored. This one looks so cute with how saintess really a good girl and want to have friendship with typical villainess.. shes so distraught on this chapter it made me think shes a kid with almost-but-not-yet divorced parents aka katarina and the prince

She view losing her magic power as punishment for what she's done, so frankly I wouldn't count it as part of the reason she changed.
If she still had her magic, she'd probably try to use it for good cause instead.

No really, go check the main series, she opening page is her apologizing while being stabbed i.e. before time regressing.

I still am not a huge fan of the prince and this kinda is why. He is only nice to Rachel in main story just cause of circumstances and never tried to learn about her in this time line it seems. Not explain anything and didn't seem to really actually look into things or it would be a bit more sus about things claimed

The solution to this is honestly quite straight forward. The saintess should at some public event with many nobles (actual nobles, not the brats she goes to school with) and ideally the king present, must say:

"I, Saintess Anna of house Carol, publicly denounce Katarina [of house lastname] as a venomous woman who actively seeks to prevent a harmonious union between our future monarchs [lists their names]. [list all of the shit she has been doing to sabotage their relationship and how she framed the saintess]. As the Saintess of this nation, and with solely the nation's interests in mind, I Saintess Anna of house Carol petition the king and house of lords to exile Katerina [of house lastname] from the capital and its immediately adjacent cities/territories."
