Its like in the legends where heroes who bath in dragons blood obtain magic power. In the Novel the bitch stepsister have too much of MCs blood on her, so some faint power traces get to her. She is by far no saintess at all.

That makes sense then. I was nearly forced to drop this if the author didn't give us a compelling reason.
