Man, that first chapter really reminded me of the old days (not that old, just like 4 years ago), when I used to watch cliché romcom anime and just be happy. For some reason, this one hit me with a weird sense of nostalgia. Maybe it’s that dumb “classmates being jealous” cliché. I don’t even like it, but it’s so uncommon nowadays that it sent me straight back to old-school romcom anime.

Seems okay so far.

They've established the FMC was already kinda curious about or interested in the MC prior to the title incident so it isn't just sudden thing. She also feels a bit more rounded than usual since we get to see her internal dialog with her being introspective and serious. The FMC is also matching the MC's energy, they are actually actually similar in personality outside of the social/friendships thing.

Far from peak

well I disagree. The only annoying part of the Story is the FMCs sister and she gets dealt with, aside from that, there is basically no harem, there are other relationships going on besides the MCs, the MC might be cliche but there is far worse and really we don't have nearly as much unnecessary drama as usually.
So as far as these types of stories are concerned that story is peak. are there better romcoms? For sure, but most of them don't meet the required "Is like this story" that the OP wanted recommendations for.
If you ask for stories with a trashy concept like this story, then thats about as good as it gets.

about it yeah. Its like almost at the point where its not just a standart story with cliche plot but actually sets itself appart, like the dangers in my heart, which technically speaking is just such a cliche concept but is somehow able to be on a different tier all together.
In my opinion Inexperienced me and experienced you almost makes it into that realm, but falls short due to mostly the love triangle with fmcs sister and cus MCs personality is not unique enough.
