I like that the relationship between MC and his maid seems to be very clearly established - they're banging, and are in to each other.
What's interesting is why he, and she, both hate the master; I wonder if the other apprentices also hate her?

Also, since our MC went from a boy full of ambition and dreams to a talented but lazy bum - I wonder if all the students the master taught also have personality problems from her teaching method?
