Yes!

Sensible adventurers!

"This one is beyond us now, let's book!" is always an option when things go south, unless there are other considerations which you feel outweigh self-preservation; anyone who argues that "retreat isn't honorable," should be placed on the front lines; once dead, everyone else can then go home.

You're right. They're confusing two different meanings of bouzu, 坊主. Technically, yes, it means a Buddhist priest or monk -- but, by analogy of the monk's shaven head with the short-cropped hair of a boy, it means "sonny" or "lad" in informal speech.

When translating, a little common sense goes a long way.

@freakofnature I didn't know that about bouzu, so thanks for learning me a thing today. calling him "Boy" just made more sense to me in context with the characters involved and how they talk to one another.

Instead of Dragon Busters, why not call it "The Harem and another Guy"?
Oh, he's a harem member too. We all saw how Bell held him in his arms that one time. Now he can't get married normally anymore and Bell has to take responsibility, it's not like one more "wife" would bog him down.

Oh, for the love of— What is it with this sub group and Louise? In the registration scene at the beginning of the chapter, wouldn’t it make more sense to swap the bubbles where Iina and Louise’s names appear (when the receptionist is reading the party roster back to them)? The bubble on Iina has Louise’s name and the one by Louise’s name has Iina’s.

And another thing- what is it with them and constantly using “high priest” to describe characters who aren’t members of the clergy? We already have clergy members in the Cardinal and Elise. Brantag (or however you spell his name) and Armstrong aren’t agents of the church but rather court magicians. What the hell sort of priest isn’t affiliated with the church of their nation (and it’s not like they could be priests of some other religion, either)?

About the "high priest" thing: they used the wrong meaning for 坊主 (bōzu)

Thanks for the chapter!
If you look closely the first rule and regulation of the guild is that if the party leader is a handsome man all the girls must be cute or beautiful and lusting only for him at the expense of the token 2nd male member who has to maintain party stability while cursing the party leader as a riajuu who should explode with his inside voice only. Token male member only allowed to flirt and chase women outside the party, will be considered the most expendable by the other members and main job is to help the party leader look good and avoid disfiguring wounds. Cool scars are ok.

Btw, can anyone translate or explain what the glowing piece of paper Brandark is? I'm guessing it's a ruins exploration mission request (aka royal decree to do it) but since the contents weren't directly referred to can't be sure.

I am years late to the punch but page 13's headline text reads something like "compulsory request" (強制, kyōsei - compulsory, 依頼書, iraisho - written request), or so my limited resources tell me. I got a fair bit annoyed with the fact this wasn't translated whatsoever seeing as this was kind of the crux of the chapter (sure you can probably glean that from context clues but still), so thanks for the learning opportunity, I suppose.
