I like that it's called "Deus Ex-Machina", and that it's understood in-world as a literal cheat ability, but that it has the very appropriate caveat of simply providing whatever is needed for the most dramatic climax to the "story" to occur--whether boon or bane to the user.

Feels simultaneously silly, powerful, and on-theme to the ghost providing it, while not being a boring, immediate fix to their situation. Kind of ideal, really.

To the changes in font/sizing/layou and honorifics usage--I echo those saying "new fonts/layout, but keep the honorifics".
Better readability/accessibility on things like phones is always a plus, and given most people here read manga in substantial quantities, Japanese honorifics should be known-enough as to not cause confusion, and do retain the "integrity" of this being a Japanese comic first and foremost.

Is it just me, or have the past few chapters been reminiscent of those old DBZ episodes where the entire runtime was spent on Goku going AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! with the plot barely moving forward at all?

Just you, this feels more like Naruto before they became Dragon Ball, strats some asspulls, but mostly usage of each skill available in different ways. Not just static, or who is stronger wins! It depends on their actions.

For starters the ghost are his demon and Jutsus, and the secondary character don't have a lot of development in their jutsus.

I’ve made a few changes recently and would love your feedback.
I changed the fonts and the use of honorifics (-chan, -san, etc.).

A quick look at both versions:

Previous Version:

• Fonts: [Old fonts]
• Honorifics: -san, -chan, etc.

New Version:

• Fonts: [The ones used in this chapter]
• Honorifics: No -san, -chan but Miss, Mr, Young Lady or just instead of Hiroto-san just Hiroto.

Which style do you prefer? New or old? Your feedback really helps me improve!

I personally prefer the Japanese honorifics, because I read Manga for the Japanese culture, not the Western or English culture, I would read comic books for that.

It's much easier to understand how the characters feel towards each other when using honorifics like
-san, -chan, -sama.

Yeah, and don't replace "Onii-chan <3" with "Brother :/" or i'll riot

I'm not a weeb so I have no idea why everyone here assumes that... but choose whichever Honorifics is easier for you.

As for the story I'm assuming that ghost from before is in explosion girl body again since she was knocked out.
