On page 13 the author forgot to draw the back side of the tape. Also, I don't know much about tournament rules but I don't think you can take your opponents place after losing even if the person drops off.

Good chapter, really like seeing more Misora fights.

@SuperOniichan On Misora vs Senlaat, her sturdy karate helped, but also her bigger frame, and even so Misora though the blows were heavy as hell despite being 12kg heavier and 17 cm taller. Is unlikely she would have performed as well if they were of similar complexion. Rule of the thumb the bigger fighter has a base advantage on term of strenght, range and endurance

On Maria side id say Veronica will lose to avoid making the fights too predictable. Its true that a bigger frame gives and advantage, but is not impossible to overcome it. . Royce Gracie vs. Chad "Akebono" Rowan is an expample with a weight difference of 308 pounds yet he managed to win despite that. On a narrative point of view makes things too predictable if she keeps winning fights by overpowereing her rivals, so at best she "might" win this fight and lose next one but narrative hints say that Maria has better chances of victory

Imo the reason why Veronica owned on her first fight is to show that USUALLY the smaller fighter is kinda screwed and why weight limitations do exist on fighting competitions

For me, looking for the strongest martial arts is a waste of time. It depends on the task at hand and the user. Even if there's a strongest martial art, if the practitioner slacking off, it will never be effective.
IRL the awareness of the surrounding plays much bigger role than a fight ever be. Because real bad guys never play fair.
